Time to bring him back (again). I don't care if his record is slightly underdone. We now require history makers and Glenn is the man who knows how to make it with Tottenham. If empty heads like Keagan, Pearce and Fat Sam can gets runs at EPL clubs time and time again we should give one of our few remaining heroes another go. Shoot me down now. Who is first?

Dumb idea. We need man managers, motivators of people, someone to get us out of the shit. Not Hoddle.

Hoddle? No.
Jol? No.
Klinsmann? No.
Allardyce? No.
Bilic? No.
Keane? No.
Uncle Tom Cobley and all? No.

Comolli out? No.

Levy out? No.

ENIC out? No.

Ramos out? No.

Poyet out? No.

Aiming this in no-ones direction, but if all you're hunting for glory, by all means switch allegiances to whoever wins things each season.

Show some backbone.

Yes times are bad, but you only fully appreciate the good times when you've experienced the bad times. For once, let's not lurch from crisis to crisis, yes there will be a point in time when it is time to move in a new direction, but FFS support does not mean having your opinions shaped by whatever is in the media, it is getting behind the team, manager and club no matter what, through thick and thin.

I'm fed up, I'm fucked off, but bitching, undermining and protesting is, in my opinion, going to change things, neither is looking back with rose tinted spectacles. I can do that too - we won a cup seven months ago with this manager.

If we got relegated then i'd say yes but he might not want the job now anyway, he's got his kids in Spain to look after.

Yes I agree that Hoddle should be brought back but as a player not a manager. :)

he would take the job if we were in the conference. He loves this club like you or I.

I'm one of the few that saw the good in what Hoddle did for us (for the first year) and England from start to finish. Seriously the man management issues are well over hyped and totally biased from certain individuals perspective.
A fair few England and Spurs players would not say a bad word about him. King, Rednapp, Anderton and Keane were all staunch Hoddlephiles after he left that i know of.
Ince, Wright, Adams, c*mpbell, anderton, rednapp and owen all still talk in high regard. The naive Beckham and his lovers Gary and Phil were the only players who questioned him post sacking but even Becks a while after acknowledges the positive influence his experience with Hoddle has contributed to his career. Other than that it were players he didn't pick like Le Tissier, Merson and Parlour... not even Gazza after the tantrum had a bad word to say about his abilty as a manager or motivator.

Back to tottenham, less money was spent over all but what we would consider his best 11 at the time rarely lost, only when King/richards/zeige and Rednapp all hit a lengthy injury patch togther did we start to slip. Seeing his chance, Pleate drove a wedge and made promises to players, Teddy espcially about a coaching role, it divided the dressing room results suffered and Hoddle was gone. Pleast got his wish but u-turned on his promises. Levy soon saw the reality of it and started all over again. I hate pleat. I hate sheringham for being so gullible. I hate Sherwood for sour grapes becasue he wasn't a good enough passer of the ball to get into hoddle CM and so bad mouthed and still bad mouths him now. What a cretin.

I totally feel Hoddle has unfinished business but i also appreciate i'm in a massive minority and as a result i doubt he'd be given any sort of chance by the fans.

Isnt he currently doing his own thing? He works with players that didn't quite make it and he seems fairly happy doing it.

I would actually much sooner have George Graham back than Hoddle. At least he would get us fighting again. We may not play exciting football, but he'd probably get us out of this mess with some tough battling 1-0 wins. Even if only until the end of the season. But i still believe that Ramos can turn things around though.

To be fair though it's not just him in a field with a load of cones. He's put his name and backing to set up a second chance academy. A team of coaches and staff run the facility and although i'm sure he's invlolved quite hands on at the moment it's not a 9-5, 7 days a week role and it's certainly something he can and would step back from if he were offered the position at the mighty Hotspurs.

Good shout and I've been thinking the same myself. I always liked and respected George Graham even when he was at Arsenal. He would get us organized and grind out results.

I agree. I was a fan of Hoddle as a player, but not as a coach.

I think Hoddle would think Spurs were some sort of evil entity in a previous incarnation and thats why Spurs are suffering at the moment!

Brilliant player, and pretty good manager.

He simply didn't cut it while managing Spurs though and there is absolutely nothing to make me think he would do any differently this time.
