I don't really rate Alex but he was good against Barca. Essien is one of my favourite players, Malouda is looking good and as a player Drogba is awesome. I like JT too, just Cashley pisses me off for obvious reasons.

Lampard wasn't bought by any Russian. I prefer Chelsea. Why is that odd? As I have said previously, they have a lot to admire and respect and I don't like Barcelona-partly because I do follow Madrid but that's not all of it. I don't consider Chelsea huge rivals, and certainly not in a competition we aren't in. They were also unlucky to lose last year.

How are they 'mercenaries' anyway?

And no, I don't support the English teams by default.
It would be interesting to hear what's to admire and respect about Chelsea.

I don't mind either way but if chelsea win it would be funny for another year only English clubs had knocked out English clubs.

No one can debate the fact the top4 in the premiership are very strong at the moment.

I'll have to hope for 3-3, a weak cb-pair in Barca but a strong attack.

I've already said simpleton.
Stuff like that can never be explained (made up) to often. Weak try to explain though. Well, it's enough answer i'd say.

So you have started to throw names around you now, there's an interesting development. Especially saying someone lack intelligence at the same time you post how much you admire Chelsea.

Spot on Michey. Can't really understand his Chelski love-fest, TBH. Maybe it's because, as he admitted earlier, he's a Real Madrid fan and is still smarting from last Saturday!

It's called opinion, if you don't agree fine. But I have said why I respect and admire Chelsea so posting a flippant questions as to why is pointless. I admire and respect Barca too but I just want Chelsea to win and think their defensive doggedness is very good. Barca are excellent too, and as I have said, they are capable of putting afew past Chelsea so should be a good game of contrasting styles. Isn't that what football is about? I don't balk at people's admiration for Barca and their world class players so why me regarding Chelsea and theirs?

Maybe I have a different opinion on shock horror a football forum and yes Madrid is part of it and yes being English is part of it but not the whole reason at all.

Apparently Barça line up is:

Valdés; Alves, Piqué, Touré, Abidal; Busquets, Xavi, Keita; Iniesta, Eto'o y Messi

So looks like it will be Toure at CB... Lets hope he is at least as good as his brother.

Chelsea apparent line up:

Cech; Bosingwa, Alex, Terry, Cole; Ballack, Essien; Malouda, Lampard, Anelka; y Drogba

Hopefully will be a good game. First goal will be crucial as usual

Will be interesting to see where Messi plays. I think he'll play up on his own, with Eto'o and Henry(if fit) either side. They did this against Madrid and Messi played alot more centrally in the second half in the first leg.

I'm going for a 2-2.

I'm for Barca as I think that a final between Man U and Barca will be more interesting for the neutral fans. Man U and Chelsea may be boring.

Barça fans outsinging Chelsea fans...quite sad tbh considering we aren't known for our extreme vocal support.

Typical, they do fuck all for 100 minutes then score a lucky goal. Just like Man Utds last season.

My bad luck this year continues.
