If it's not "rocket science" and about "playing players in their right positions" what the fuck is he doing playing Keane on the left wing.
This is like a cut and paste of a Jol interview. Managers desk, misty eyed gaze at the portraits of yesteryear blah blah.
I always knew this squad was to good to go down ... Wasn't exactly what he was saying after the Burnley game when he "could only work with the poor squad he'd been left with".
Fucking please, say something original.

I would be very happy to sign Kenwynne Jones for the right price as he is quick, strong, holds up ball well (look at his performance against Portsmouth) and is good in the air. He is young with a lot of potential and can improve his scoring rate in a team that creates chances. I believe working with Joe Jordan can help bring out the best in him.
I think we will be surprise to see some names leave us this summer.
Here are my thoughts:
Jenas - Dos Santos - Bent - Bentley - Rocha - Gilberto - Zokora - Boateng - Hutton
This should generate over 30Million.
Jenas will be a surprised sale. I think he will call it time here at Spurs IMO.
I believe our buy will be Barry - Johnson - Figueroa - And a prolific scorer a la Redknapp...meaning out of the blue, a gem. Much like he did with Di Canio.
Modric will be shifted to a more attacking central midfielder with Barry probably on left and Palacios in centre and Lennon on right.
Back 4 will practically be the same except with the addition of Johnson.
Di Canio he brought in from Sheff Wed after Paul Jewell had frozen the guy out, and Di Canio had already been a class player with Lazio and Celtic.
Figueroa would be interesting, a big powerful versatil defender. I believe he is only on loan at wigwam.
I would prefer Figueroa to Johnson, only because we have about 4 RB and 2 LB. I rate Bale, He is only young and will IMO improve. We need another LB and Figueroa fits the bill.Di Canio he brought in from Sheff Wed after Paul Jewell had frozen the guy out, and Di Canio had already been a class player with Lazio and Celtic.

Barry would be a real coup and the perfect complement to our midfield. We have energy and battling in Wilson, we have craft and cunning in Modric, we have dribbling and width with Lennon, so a player like Barry who dictates the tempo of the game and does both defensive and offensive duties would be far closer to what we need than Muntari or Brown. Whether we can attract him is another matter, his supposed support of us may well be irrelevant now that he is right in his prime and the clock is ticking after a trophyless career. However, if there was a chance that we could get him, we should.
Can't see that we'd bring in both Johnson and Figueroa. Wouldn't want Johnson, especially not at his likely cost.
Who the striker is, nobody can really guess anything other than if we don't get him early we will have to put up with a summer of being linked with any and everybody going.
As for outgoings, I pretty much agree with that but, despite the comments recently, I believe Pavlyuchenko is more likely to go than Bent, that Huddlestone is more likely to go than Jenas, and that it would be a shame to give up on Dos Santos just yet, especially after his good loan spell.
Ashley Young would be my top priority this summer if we could get him also would love Micah Richards, Crouch, Adam Johnson, Gareth Barry, Bassong, Yakubu and Scott Brown
