He scored 13 with Pompy - he also played for England...........he might get 13 with Spurs this year.........but then again so would bent - also on assists, he only had 5 with Pompy last year........so no more he is a great assist player please...........
AY I hear what you are saying but I'm not convinced
Quick question
Who would score more goals next season
Bent @ Sunderland
or
Crouch @ Spurs?
I know where my money is
Not an improvement on Bent IMHO and yes I would love someone like Young but we all know how good Crouch is in the air so is there much point?
13:razz:He also had 51 assist attempts, and if memory serves me right Berbatov didn't have too many more assists in 2006-2007.
If they get guaranteed first team football, yes.
Fulham might of finished above us but does anyone actully think a player would pick them over us, all things being equal.
Owen's a freebie on 20k a week, and he's has a lot to prove this season. No manager wanted to take the risk with him because he's a sick note. If he wasn't perennially injured do you really think only Hull and Stoke would be in for him. It's similar to the lack of interest in Robben.
Crouch isn't a sick note yet no top clubs want him. He'll cost 12 mil, and is on 60k a week. Crouch will be nothing more than average imo.
Europe, pratically guaranteed first team football, less fans that demand Messi type signings, yes, yes I do.

Ditto. He'll be more useful for us than Huntelaar, who wouldn't have been able to play with Keane or Defoe effectively, whereas we know Crouch and Defoe works and Crouch and Keane is almost nailed on to do the same.Unlike the others i will welcome the Crouch to the lane with open arms:clap:
He won't if Pompey go into Administration in the next 2 days, more like £7.5 million.
More to the point, United appear to have decided Owen, despite the risks involved, is a better bet than 'potentially world class' Huntelaar (I'm assuming he is one of the players you mean).
