:rofl:Glenn Roeder
O'Leary is a better choice than Keegan or Shearer. A point away isn't a bad result for them.
correct.Yeah but that's like saying a kick in the shin is better than a kick in the balls (or for keegan a kick to the heart wearing spikes). One might be slightly less painful/deadly but you still wouldn't want it to happen.
O'Leary was pathetic at Villa and in being pathetic he also rubbed just about everyone up the wrong way. And at Leeds, where he supposedly 'made his name', he basically spent lots and lots of cash and then when he couldn't anymore got found out.
If he goes to Newcastle it'll be another fairly large nail in their increasingly nail filled coffin.
O'Deary is a nightmare of a manager. Shearer is their only realistic option really.
Lets face it, who else would want to take the managers job at the toon atm?
Graeme Souness then, aye? :lol:Yosser Hughes
Graeme Souness then, aye?
Olsson you IDIOT!
They rumoured this last window, back when his contract was running low and Pompey weren't looking like renewing it - not a new rumour but it wouldn't surprise me if he did go there. Bit of sensible rebuilding by the new owner, Toon come straight back up and he's got himself back into the top flight once again, at the age of 52 or whatever he is now...Newcastle's new transfer target:
