Really disappointing after such an electrifying start.

Last minute reprieve seems unlikely today.

heads dropped. can take a defeat but this has been very disappointing

I can take a defeat every now and then but it's the performance that's been disappointing. We haven't played too bad but we are no where near what we are capable of. Since the sending off Man Utd have controlled the game and are passing it around as if it's a training game.

I wouldn't go as far as to say we've been awful... They've outplayed us, even with 10 men, although since Scholes went off they've been content to sit back and counter attack... We've just lacked ideas, and you can largely attribute that to the lack of Modric... Maybe someone with a bit of invention like GDS could have made a difference, maybe not...

We've still had some good chances, most notably Crouch, and Foster made a good save from Jenas... Against most teams in the league, at least given our performances up until Giggs and Rooney's goals in each half, we'd have won...

It's more a very good Man Utd performance than a poor Spurs performance... Given the expectation any kind of defeat was always going to be more disappointing...

At least this game will bring back some people to reality.

No not me m8 I'm gonna stay in cookoo land because we are a good team but the tactics let us down today. Harry banged on about the balance of the squad when he came in but today he fielded a very unbalanced squad. It could be because alot of the players just came back from inter duties but for whatever reason Harry fcuked up today.

I know it's little consolation but before the start of the season we'd have snapped the hand off anyone giving us 12 points out of 15.

Hopefully this won't knock our confidence too much. We always seem to fold easily against Utd though.

It's true, the way we're losing this match is just disappointing, much like the game at OT, we concede one goal then just fold completely. We just haven't looked like getting in this game, 2nd half possession favours Utd completely and this has been really easy for them let's be honest, could have been 5 or 6-1 even after they been down to 10 men.

I'll say it again but why not have GDS on the bench, Hutton for Corluka?? I hope Corluka was injured as that was just strange.

This has unfortunately again showed up the problems with playing Hudd in a 4-4-2. Not a knee-jerk reaction but he couldn't get near Scholes who is no spring chicken.

I really am baffled why he was brought on, what did Corluka do wrong? I thought he had an ok game, did anyone see something I didn't?
