well done harry for picking the right team. We needed ledley today, several vital interceptions and challenges. Kaboul MOTM, great choice ahead of wilson on current form. Gomes is a big worry - and highlights the cheating city *****s getting another keeper - we may have to play our 3rd choice, so why do they get away without playing there chump. COYS, beat them and tie it up. Shall we enquire if we can get an emergency striker??? lol

Starting Wilson at RB would raise a few eyebrows tbf.

Not sure why Pav is being singled out. Not like Defoe (or Crouch) was much better today, or even in recent weeks/past month.

I'm genuinely a little worried about the quality of our strikers for the future. Sshould we make 4th I think we need to add a bit more quality in this area.

OMG how fickle do some of these comments make our fans look like.

Sell our strike force etc

Wasn't long ago Pav, Defoe were the golden boys. They are not sh*t overnight, stick with them, we are in 4th and in pole position. END OF.

what r u talking about? The only change from the man u game was kaboul for wilson. The alternative was wilson and hudd CM moders LM bale LB BAE RB like at old trafford.

Just seen the highlight's of celtic's game, in which keano pulled off another sublime finish. i'd love to have him back, if the option's there.

Pav has just gone stale..

He'll be much more effective if we bring him on as a sub on Wednesday, with a bit of fire in his belly.

Crouch looked ok in the time he was on today, I actually wouldn't mind seeing more of him these next two games, but, not sure I trust us to just hoof it up to him.

sell sell sell, buy buy buy.

As others have said, City will be coming at us and trying to play football.

It's not going to be easy, but it is definitely going to be exciting....

I would like to know how many chances we created? How many chances did we create in the games against Hull, Stoke and Wolves at home?

I wouldn't lose much sleep if most of the strike force was changed.

We won't finish level with City. The only way for that to happen is draw Wednesday, we lose to Burnley, and City draws with West Ham and lets face it. If we lose to Burnley we probably don't deserve it.

If City beat us and draw at West Ham, and we beat Burnley, it will come down to GD in which they will overcome us.

the race for 4th is 50-50 at this point.

yep . Pav has form for playing poorly as a starter and coming off the bench very effectively...he's not good enough for us though ...sell I say .

yes pav was poor, but he doesnt keep missing chances for long. Difficult decision who starts upfront on Wednesday. Tempting to go for Crouch Gud, but it wont happen. Pav and defoe are definitely our best strikers, but their form has disappeared recently, one has to be dropped for city. BTW I wouldn't change any of our strikers for next season, keep all four and strengthen other areas. Form is temporary, class is permanent!

In a couple of the games he scored in, he was pretty poor. He had a few decent games, but they were more of a blip, in an otherwise pretty average time he's had at the club. I actually think he's a good footballer, but he isn't strong, isn't fast and doesn't attack the ball, in the way someone like Shearer did. He's just not dynamic enough. If he could drop deep and hold the ball uo, to take some pressure of the midfield that would give him something, but he doesn't do that very well either. Also he's pretty selfish aswell. He's a good player and I'm sure he'll do well in another league, but I don't think he's right for the Prem and hope we sell him.

actually thats not a bad idea to play crouch, i dont like the long ball we play when he is on but city will have all the possesion and there will be mountains of pressure, and when we get the ball its likely we'll be hoofing it away alot so probably best we have someone to aim for at least
