They are probably trying to play hardball, but will have to lower the price before the window shuts otherwise they will be left with a player who will be worth nothing in 6 months. He won't sign another contract there.

Right. Keane was always going to go to Celtic and only Celtic. It was down to Dermot Desmond to fork up the money (fee & wages) essentially out of his own pocket to fund it. With this one gaining momentum, my assumption is that he did. Which in turn means we can expect the ink drying on an incoming soon enough.

I like it. To confirm this though you need to study the Crouch, Defoe and Keane videos again to see if he does the same thing.

It would make sense to me for Harry to tell porkies about the fee, specifically because it will make other clubs think that we have less money than we really have, thereby preventing them from driving prices up. Maybe. Just a thought...:shrug:
Yes, and or, other signings/loans from other clubs we haven't been drawn against.
