He has been glowing in praise about Levy since he joined, even when we didn't get Joe Cole he was saying how the chairman was very generous with his offer

Tbh i dont think theres anything there. He said shortly before that hes happy with the squad as we are, yet levy coming to him and suggesting a transfer suggests a keenness to spend money. I think harrys probably used to it the other way around

I think it is the fee...and he mentions it because if the original valuation had stood he would be kicking his heels until Jan.

Of course, he still might be.

We're about to sign our best player since Gazza and people want to question H's comments about D's 'money'.

Harrry has said lots this window that is imaganitive.. why focus on the negative.

VDV will become a spurs player im sure. (opinion)

Its not about focusing on the negative - we're all buzzing about the VDV signing (hopefully).
the point is - the way Harry came across to me was having a little sarcastic dig at levy as if levy has been unwilling to splash the cash on other signings.
And yes - i want to ask the question about H's comments about D's money !! i asked the question as to whether others read into the comments the same way i did.
I am extremely happy with the signing, think Levy has done a GREAT job at spurs, as has Harry.

I know stats aren't everything, but

• 48 goals in 116 appearances for Hamburg
• 60 in 141 for Ajax

says a lot. 12 in 71 in Madrid is a bit less impressive but if he recaptures his Hamburg form it looks like we finally have our goal scoring midfielder.

Whilst i don't think it is going to be a problem, what would you really bet your money on, the fa, nit picking over some minor detail, or tackling the big important issues...?

isnt this more a Prem L than FA...?

either way my expectation is he will be ours.
