Please not to Man United, I flipping hate them - everything about them...the constant nicking of our best players and the constant bias they get at OT, and the absolute injustice we have to suffer every year against them.

I detest them and I am sick of them taking our best players - it has to stop right now.

Hopefully we will finish top 4 and Bale will continue his development under Harry (which I think is very significant, so Dan while your at it give Harry a pay rise and a new contract as well, wiil ya!)

In any case we are talking about 50 million plus now anyway, but lets all pray he stays, which I think he will if we finish top 4. We have to keep this group together and get a world class CF.

If he does leave sooner rather than later (again lets all pray he doesn't) anywhere bar United, please Gareth.

I hate United and their plastic fans, anyway here's the sign up (Bale) thread they have started:

I think after the last 2 euro nights he is now out of Utd's league (moneywise)

Probably only City and Real could afford him (trust in Levy) unless Abramovich decides to dust off his pockets.

If he chooses to run down his contract then that's his perogative, but still gives us four more years. (although i expect we'll be offering him a new 5 year deal in January...)

Stay for 3-4 more years, then go to Barcelona, leaving us as an established champs league team.

That said,if we look like winning the league and a new stadium, then why even entertain the thought of leaving

There is really no reason why he should want to leave especially if we can tempt a top striker to join us. I think him signing a new extended contract is more likely than him leaving tbh

The thing is, he is enjoying himself, loving playing football.

why would he want to leave?

He wouldn't want to leave us. Not yet. Harry is the right mentor for him at the moment, and I think he realises that.

The only two places I wouldn't begrudge Bale a move to is Real Madrid and Barcelona. And if he was to go to one of those, I'd want it to be Barca (my second team).

nice quote in thisislondon articel with Luka...

And despite the obvious interest in Bale from Europe's top clubs, the Croat is adamant that no one wants to quit White Hart Lane.
Modric said: “Every time you're playing you just want to do well and not think about other clubs who are looking at you.
“All the players are thinking the same. We all have long contracts and that's good for stability.”

If they tap Bale up or announce interest in Bale to the media I fully expect Levy to tear into them.

I'd rather he go to United than Ars*nal but agree with everything else. I'm hoping when he does go it would be abroad but as Harry said he doesn't want to go there on holiday - let alone live.

I'm not unduly worried. He's not a kid easily influenced by money and everyone in the biz is telling him to stay and develop at Spurs. Which was very different from when Rooney was at Everyone and everyone encouraged him to go to United.

United can't afford him. Aren't Barcelona in a bit of financial trouble too?

I can't stand their fans, arrogant, horrible people.

They have a sense of entitlement that I just can't abide, I really want to see that odious club crash and burn, I hope the Glazers take 'em for everything they've got.

Oh and they couldn't even afford his right leg let alone his left, Manc *****s!

HR has come out and said he isnt for sale, our club isnt needing money and we want to build a team not sell it and Bale will be one of the ones a team is built upon! so no point worrying
