Yea because one of their big players would never come out and say they want to leave, causing a massive shit storm.....oh wait....

I also don't recall saying it would harm them, I actually started my post by saying it was fascinating. Questioning how they can keep three+ strikers happy and questioning how they'll set up is quite reasonable isn't it? Or not? Please do let me know......

Dzeko

Tevez Balotelli

Silva Toure

De Jong

By all accounts Tevez will be off at the end of the season anyway so its makes sense if money is no object.

If I had the choice of any striker in the world,I would take Samuel Eto'o,he is made for a team like us!

Can't understand why Harry is struggling to think of new players

He seemed stumped in the summer despite having money to spend

We are getting very ambitious and are confident for a great season. We feel we can achieve and Levy has some cash for HR to build the squad. HR feels we only need a special player and perhaps an addition elsewhere too.
I personally feel that HR has his target and is very confident of getting that player. I think his shortlist will include: Benzema...Dzeko...Adebayor if Man City got Dzeko...Torres...Fabiano...Carroll although he can be kept quiet but has PL experience...Muller...
The again we can end up with Bellamy and Parker...
But Diarra and Benzema will show us serious to challenge PL...
Happy New Year...

Lukaka or llorente for me. Dzeko is a huge gamble for £35m or what ever they pay for him, I can see him being an expensive flop. And Carroll should be a no go he isn't worth the figure being printed in the press.

For me it's Carroll. I know Dawson kept him quiet yesterday, but he made a real nuisance of himself and didn't have anything decent to feed off. Imagine him with the quality we have and the knock downs to vdv. Plus only 21 and therefore sticking to clubs policy of buying players and retaining value.

With Inter in a bit of disaray I think it would definately be worth us making an approach for him. We would be made for him a quick team that uses wingers to feed him. He was the player who looked like genuine class when we beat them at the Lane. You'd think that Benny or Bassong, could have the inside track on whether he'd be interested in joining us or not from their links with the Cameroon team.

He did put himself about, but the major thing that he lacks is pace and I doubt that he's gonna get any quicker in the future. This is why we need a 'special' player who is decent in the air, good with the ball at their feet and has real pace that can scare defenders. A younger version of Drogba should just about do it!

I would take Cisse of Freiburg. Just out of curiosity have the people saying Lukaku watched many Anderlecht games? Or are they just going by YT clips?

Well I'm currently managing FC Porto on Football Manager and he's fucking awesome on that

Pain in the arse trying to keep him though as Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and AC Milan have all expressed an interest and made bids (which have been rejected!)

Had to sign (on loan as I have no fucking money) F Macheda, Rafael, Kyle Naughton, and Sandro to keep him happy!

So, er, yeah....based on football manager, I say, sign 'im up!

He got banned for attacking someone in the tunnel after a game, although the original 4 month ban was reduced to 4 matches. Has got 18 goals in 24 games including 13 in 13 in the league, but temperament seems iffy. I've always preferred Falcao when I've watched Porto play, he's much better at link up play.
