It should be Patrick Peterson as he's the most talented player in this draft class. However, the Carolina Panthers are in desperate need of a franchise QB and they seem to think Cam Newton is that. If the Panthers take Newton then I will piss myself laughing as he isn't even the best QB in the draft, Blaine Gabbert is.

Apparently the Steelers are looking to trade up to get Mike Pouncey or Derek Sherrod.

Cam Newton is as thick as shit (i know that can be levelled against a lot of college players, but still). I love how Jon Gruden totally exposed how unready he is for a pro system.

Get in!

If Dareus is still around 2nd pick which I doubt he will, him and Dareus for us would be ace!

Green didn't look best pleased to be picked by The Bengals  Surprising pick though.

Best WR since Larry Fitzgerald, great pick up.

And yeah I'm a Broncos fan :)

Peterson to Arizona. They've a very good CB tandem now.

Gabbert still falling...

The Falcons are paying a hell of lot to get the No.2 wide receiver in the draft.

I don't know the college game very well, but Locker has been great for a fairly poor team and was earmarked for the Hawks two years ago. However their draft spot was too low this year.
I don't know the college game at all, but reading all the draft coverage over the last few months they thought he would be going late first/early second. Last year he was supposed to be No.1 if he came out, but didn't and appartently has accuracy issues in the pocket. Plus Gabbert was supposed to be the best QB, so I thought he would have gone first if they were going QB.

Pouncey to Miami  Happy with the pick, but thought we were going to trade back because of no second round pick.

Corey Liuget to San Diego Chargers. Great to see Illini getting drafted in the first round. Hopefully Mikel Leshoure gets drafted tonight.

Some great value picks as a result of the reaching for QBs. Patriots did well (as always) getting Solder and some picks from the Saints, they have an extra first rounder next year and now 3 picks in this year's second round, which has a tremendous amount of value. Saints got a very good value running back which will give their game an extra dimension.

Not sure about the CB the Ravens picked, has personality bust written all over it. Giants getting Prince Amukamara at 19 was a steal. I was hoping my Steelers would trade up to 20 and pick him if he fell to Tampa but it wasn't to be, and they ended up taking a solid DE pick in Heyward to lock up the defensive line for a good while, he was definitely the best player available at that point. Really hope they can get a cornerback in round two though, hoping for Ras I Dowling, who is a beast, but they'd probably have to trade up to get him.

Some say Mallet was the best QB in the draft, but had off-field issues. Surprised they took him cause Brady still has plenty of years left.
