Is it me or does Brownhead always mension Cardozo?

Ref - Ryan's ITK, 2 from Leandro/Wickham and Falcao/Drogba would be great business. Our strikers really need freshing up. Out of the 4 I would prefer Falcao and Leandro. The 2 I would sell would be Defoe and Crouch. In the ideal world I would swap Pav for Drogba as well, but 3 strikers is asking a bit much really.

Ref BEN's, Rio for me is never going to be the same player he once was. He looked way off the pace for England and got turned too easy at times. I know he has missed a lot of games, but so does Ledley yet he always outperforms Terry and Ferdinand. What we really need is a centre back in his peak to partner either King/Gallas/Dawson.

Why would Rio leave United?
Ninety nine percent of the time, the only players that leave them are ones they no longer want.

I think some people need to understand that a club interested in a player does not necessarily mean that club will land that player. They do have the right to be interested.
ITKs passed on information on good faith and it may and may not happen.
It is not gospel!
It just hearing something from someone.
Some of us have a poor image of our club, meaning we can sign certain players. I am really glad you are not the directors. You have poor image. We have been able to have VDV, Gallas (who i personally think was outstanding), Modric and more.
We can buy some players and Levy has a vision.

Has anyone got any ideas on this bop bop americano thing? POTL said that in jan too im sure.

Most people seem to think it's Rossi

Well they have just signed (or about to sign) a new CB. They coped OK without him last season so they may just want to get him off the wage bill. The new financial governance rules may play a part in who they let go.

There is no way United will sell Rio and there is no way Rio would come to us. This is ridiculous.

I don't see why he wouldn't come to us. Utd probably wouldn't want to sell to Chelsea or Liverpool, they definitely won't sell to City, we are probably their best hope (out of the English teams anyway).

Its not about having a poor image of our club, its more about that United wouldn't sell Rio, and why should they? Ask your average united fan what they would think of the prospect of selling Ferdinand to us

I often image POTL with lots of books around him, encyclopedia's, phrases of the bible, books on the wonders of the world.

He has great knowledge of all things, his word is the gospel

Just got in, sorry if it's already been mentioned, but could POTL's ITK about a style of dance possibly be referring to the samba dance, implying we're in for Chris Samba?

My initial thought too, wouldn't be against it.

He is a bit slow but is a good player and useful striker cover too

Samba for me, although good cover at CB, would be a downgrade on Bassong. And quite considerably worse than Kaboul. If we have to sign a CB because he could potentially cover for our strikers, I'm worried.

Wenger is interested in him and he rarely gets it wrong in terms of judging a good player
