Yeah, I mean, if Nolan is worth £3m then Luka has to be worth £158m at least!

Charlie Adam is barely an upgrade on O'Hara... in fact, I would rather have O'Hara.
Adam's a lazy **** who was let go by Rangers for £500,000 because he was going stale and not fulfilling his potential.
At Blackpool, he is the main man, with the team largely built to go through him. He had a nice left-peg, no doubt, but so did Andy Reid. He's slow, lazy, and the amount of times he tackled like a Sunday league player in the penalty area last year was beyond a joke.
Adam is quite simply average in every possible way.

We currently have Bale, Pienaar and Krnaky (probably soon to leave I know) to play on the left so missing out on Turan really isnt an issue.

:grin: Now that I can understand! I think Forlan would of been a handy buy for this season.
I wish Levy would make a statement and slap down a 35 mil bid for Falcao (would rather Rossi but the vibes dont seem positive that he wants to join us) and another £18 for Adebayor...sorted job done, top 4 next season here we come !! Simples...isnt it???

... also it's not that simple. If we're playing 1 up front next year, which is a fair assumption, it's one or the other. The only way we should be signing Adebayor is if we are planning to make him the main man.
I'd say Falcao or Adebayor, plus Leandro as the understudy would do us fine.

Don't think its a coincidence that its reported we've bid for Adam on the same day we're negotiating a deal for Parker. Sounds like gamemanship to drive the asking price down to me. Although the fact that this originally came from Scouse ITKs (I think) makes me think that its more likely fabricated from Blackpool to get a better deal from Liverpool.
