He's hardly likely to say "I hate the scrawny, bald little c**t, and can't wait to wring his lying neck after the way he sacked me" is he? Bad PR from a Premier league manager so he's had to toe the line and sing from a heavily edited hymn sheet.

He wouldn't have made very positive comments if he despised the man though.

"I've got a very good relationship with [Tottenham chairman] Daniel [Levy]. He looked after me, he always did. There's no hard feelings."

great to hear they are on good terms after the way he was removed. hopefully their relationship is such that jol will take a few of our players off our hands.

I don't think Jol was totally blameless when he was sacked. especially if the rumours are to be believed.

Also, and i'm not sure why, but i've always had the impression that Levy was manouvered into sacking Jol and was not the driving force behind the sacking.

the "I was at Spurs for three-and-a-half years, so that was probably a record." part could be interpreted as sarcastic though.

In the book he wrote with Harry Harries about his time at Spurs he says he ended on good terms with Levy. He's no fool and he knows how football works in modern times - how ruthless it can be and quickly things can change. Overall he must look back at his time with us very positively and his relationship with Levy will obviously be included in that positive retrospective, even if there were bumps in that relationship towards the end.

At the end of the day, Jols career as a top level manager is because of us, he has no reason to hold a grudge. He owes us as much as we owe him.

Jol has to be nice about Levy as he probably wants to take Keano, Jenas and maybe some others off of us!

I know one thing for certain. He's going to get one hell of a positive reception from the WHL faithful when he brings the Cottagers to N.17. I can't think of a manager in recent memory who has inspired so much love from the supporters.

It was a two way street if I remeber rightly. Jol whored himself out to "bigger" teams (newcastle cough cough):rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Jol conducted himself with class and always tried to make us a better club. We owe him at least partly for giving us back our class and dignity.

He has to be nice so he can come back next season with us in the CL having guided Fulham to 6th in the PL.

Close but not quite. Jol was promised an improved contract, didn't get it, after he was offered Ajax job. Turned it down because he wanted to stay at Spurs. He was rightly pissed off.

Shouldn't have used NUFC to force Levy's hand. In doing that he pissed Levy off who then sent that **** kemsley to Spain. The rest is history.

He clearly doesn't feel the same way about Comolli

First time I've seen an interview with the big man as Fulham boss today, still love him.

NickH, My admiration of him has no bounds I am sorry but if he went back to Spurs tomorrow you would here a big Yipppeee from me!
Back when he was sacked and under such appalling conditions if Kelmsley and Levy were stuck in an elevator with me only one of us would come out alive and it would have been me. I was FURIOUS at the time. So it will be lovely but difficult when he comes back to the lane and its a game I want to be at!

Lets face it he had to deal with Garderner, Rocha and young Dawson at the back for most of a season. The guy was a fucking hero!

If you believe Jol's version of events, Comolli was sounding out Ramos before the season even started. I'm not surprised Jol went looking for other jobs if that was the case.
