I don't want top four. I want the title. We are good enough to beat anyone already so why not? It was always said that we were never good enough because we never had the players from the top table. Not a gerrard, scholes, Henry. Now we have bale, modric, gallas and van der vaart. You telling me they are not top top players?

Add a Rossi or whoever to that

Boom. Coys

absolutely spot on!....Even Harry spent most of last season saying we could push for the title.....and that was with strikers that didnt hit a barn door from 5 yards!.....just think what we would/could have achieved with a Rossi for example!......I really believe that with the right investment and I'm not talking 8 players and circa £100m but maybe 3 first team players inc 2 strikers we could be on the verge of something special

here here!!

i want the title too!!...its time we believed ffs...

guiseppi will bang us into the top 4 for sure!

Absolutely. I want the quadruple. I want to win every game. All talk of aspiring to anything less should lead to a ban for anti Tottenham behaviour. That's not to say that the likelihood of any of it can't be discussed sensibly, but aiming for 4th is soooooooooooo 2009!

1. PSG are loaded.

2. One's an attacking midfielder the others a defensive midfielder.

It would certainly test QPR's resolve and what wth PSG recently taken over, I'm sure they would be prepared to go quite a bit higher which all looks good as far as we are concerned and although I knew of our sell-on clause, I didn't think it was as high as 40%.

oh yes use the rest on jenas the penas!!!! would be great!!!

No harry needs to go bloody spen some cash!!!!

potentially : -

* 13M - Wilson
* 13M - Pav

Its not the cash we need - we have plenty of it - its the reduction of the wages bill is the issue and until the higher earners are cleared its going to be a drawn out affair

Im not being funny but everyone says if we buy someone on high wages now (i.e ROSSI) it will cost too much - too much wages compared to income or whatever.....but ffs cant we just buy someone now so we are guarenteed to get someone and then if no-one buys keane or whoever cut our losses (by like 3 mill, which we will get more for from taarabt anyway) and sell him for like £1mill???

pitty he wasn't still on loan from us to QPR :bang: :razz:

But yes hopefully they'll spunk some of their share on Jenas....Levy will probably get about 7 million for Jenas...5 for Adel...sounds good :grin:

This is Levy you're talking about.

And I agree with how he runs the club. Why should we accept a lot less than a player is worth?

i agree....Villa,Messi and Pedro seem to manage it....you need quality players to deliver quality service thats all, and in Modric, Sandro, Bale and Lennon we have that

I love the "can't work together" discussions, as it's all bollocks.

If they work at it in training any pair of strikers should be able to build up a working relationship. It's all about understanding and anticipating what your partner is likely to do on and off the ball. After all, they are professionals...

Only issue is, if nobody is willing to buy him for our vaulation then he's going to leave on a free eventually, since I'd guess that we aren't willing to renew his contract, certainly not on his current wages.

So we don't end up without a good striker, consequently no Champions League, consequently lose Bale, Modric and VDV and end up back in mid-table?

I like how he runs the club.....but on this one occasion just take a small loss for the sake of alot more fortune with the rewards it will hopefully reap (CL)

When has Levy let that happen before though?

Because if we can't get our valuation then we end up with a high earner on the books that won't get a game.

Sometimes you just have to cut your losses and move on.

And I'm sure we will move on but with two months to go why would we accept the first offer now?
