Oh somebody please say something interesting :bang:
Even if someone says something interesting, they will be criticized and shot.
All i can say is its hot and sunny in Mauritius when it suppose to be winter - Oh and this is not a cryptic clue to anything related to Spurs.

So we are going to make more on Taraabt's sell on fee than Jamie O'Hara. Suck on that myth of the overpriced English player.

DP, i know you are just making a point, and you know they are different types of players at different points in their career.

Would a better comparison be Tarrabt and Henderson?

It's too bad, because someone would tie that Rossi. Another to Adebayor. One random fool to Iniesta. Ashcroft to Harry being worse than Hitler. And I personally would figure out a way to tie it to Pippa Middleton's ass. Oh Pippa!

Interesting enough, i have more if you want :silenced:

Actually that one little fact was more interesting than reading the last 16 pages

No itk today by the looks of it.

You can compare him to anybody. That's the beauty of erroneously mistaking correlation with causation. For instance, another thing it tells me is that compared to Shinji Kagawa, Taraabt is as good as Christiano

 ok, you got me...

Tarrabt is a good as Cristiano, in his own head, at least. And that has nothing to do with correlation or causation, just misguided self belief.

Nope, no signings today.

I am happy with the Steven Caulker loan deeal though, it will be fantastic to see how he gets on in the PL, hopefully he can do aswell as Walker did at Villa in the second half of last season. I really want this kid to be a mainstay at Spurs for a long time.

Oh and Happy Birthday Month to you and me Hottie

Didn't know you spoke mexican.

I don't want top four. I want the title. We are good enough to beat anyone already so why not? It was always said that we were never good enough because we never had the players from the top table. Not a gerrard, scholes, Henry. Now we have bale, modric, gallas and van der vaart. You telling me they are not top top players?

Add a Rossi or whoever to that

Boom. Coys

I want to win the league too, but you are never going to do it with a manager that can't teach players work ethic and how to press the ball.

You are not going to do it with with plodders like Dawson and Huddelstone as your back bone.

I'm not saying I think we are the third best squad, but the squad we had last year was good enough, under the circumstances of what other teams were performing, to achieve 3rd place. Why didn't we ?

I'm sure we've been over this before but is there any chance that Levy is waiting for the outcome of this before committing any serious wedge to Harry? I really think that if Harry is found guilty Levy will seriously think about Harry's position and that'll be harder to do if he's just let him spend 35m on Rossi (for example).

I don't think the trial will stop Levy from spending but ido think it may contribute to the stories of him and Harry not agreeing on transfers. If there is a player Harry likes and Levy thinks he would be a benefit to the club then Levy will pay. If Harry says "let's get Joe Cole for £4m" THEN Levy might say to himself "Joe might work for Harry but if i have to sack him he could end up playing like he did at Liverpool" and therefore hold off on these types of transfers.

Btw i was not implying that Harry wants JC - just trying to make a point that not all deals will be on hold.

I think that's a cracking perspective, and would add that I think we are just trying to grind out every last ounce of value for money on some incoming transfers, as well as sitting on some which are nearly done, pending sorting some outgoing. That's why I think it's quiet on incomings...

Because of our lack of strikers. Pure and simple.

I share your concerns about Huddlestone. I don't agree with you at all about Dawson. But whatever anyone's views on those two, they weren't to blame for where we finished in the league.

If we'd had the Berbatov and Keane of old in front of the rest of our team last season we'd have finished top 3. I firmly believe that.
