As much as I hate SSN and their rubbish stories, unfortunately the reporter quite clearly mentions Chelsea in one of his questions (24secs) and so maybe it is people on here that need to be looked at with their translations?

He says "Ali moguce je sve?" (But anything is possible?)

Maybe it sounds a bit like "Chelsea" (the ending sounds like "cheh-yeh-sveh") but still NO. :hello:

Oh that's definitely true. Baseball has such a small pool of players and places to make money. It's a dying sports in the States even. Can't find enough kids to play.

NFL is limited not only by it being a nationalized football/rugby, suffering the same constraints on employers and employees as Aussie Rules, Gaelic and to a lesser extent Rugby League, but also in the fact that the standards of physical minimums is even more harsh than the 3 above.

NHL has more employers but a limited pool by climate. And even some climates don't play the sport.

NBA is the only one that has more options for both, but nobody cares about it. :grin:

if POTL said we are after a center half and also some journo saying we have pulled out of cahill deal then we should be looking at player linked with chelsea. porto's rolando. saw him few times last season. real quick solid defender. top class. and saidl he is available at less than cahill at 15 million euro. should be over all that

Maybe. Or perhaps Lyon's Dejan Lovren.

Lyon are close to signing Bologna's Miguel Britos. It may be to compliment Lovren, but it may also be as a replacement (Lovren has been rumoured with a potential move to Liverpool).

Just an idea about a player who was previously linked.

Not sure if people have seen it in the twitter thread but footballagent9 has said we've signed Leandro (I think) and RobinBKK has said that footballagent9 is 'the real deal'.

Lyon will be offloading 1 or 2 of there more established players this window (Toulalan already gone) they have financial issues and are looking to re-invest in multiple youth prospects. Have we been linked with Lisandro Lopez before?

Also Pjanic is a great prospect in the mould of VDV but he is only 20 and Lyon are unlikely to sell him.
