I was told earlier that we're interested in a young French player who's just signed a new contract, no idea what the name was though (I've never heard of him so I couldn't remember it) so if anyone knows someone who fits the description it would help, I'll probably remember once someone says

In light of the ITK and lack of squad space it seems fairly clear that Pedroza will be the only incoming striker until one of Defoe, Crouch or Pav is sold.

I thought the done deal was meant to be Pedrozo who, incidentally was seen at Spurs Lodge today, apparently.

DONE I hear! Not sure when he'll arrive, but he should have signed... :SM_banana:

Is anyone able to check this info with some other ITK's on other forums? Skyderen has a patchy record but I trust he passes on info in good faith.

Hopefully, heard a few days it was down to minor details and just got told by another that he signed last night, so probably soon an official statement.

One thing that points to this happening is Leandro was supposed to have signed a new contract with Internacional today but there has been no announcement on this. Possibly because it spurred us into action to complete the deal

Now imagine that we knew bugger all about Leandro and that we hadn't got rumours of him months ago and that we didn't have a relationship with Internacional and that this latest bit of news is the first we'd heard about him; how excited would we be? A terrific young Brazilian international striker signing for us, too good to be true is what we'd say. Come on guys get with the spirit, enjoy.

Good point, but I'd rather wait until it's official.

Part of me wants to feel that way, but part of me imagines that Ipswich Town will be celebrating the possibility of another loan star cowboy.
