Has all the season ticket money and TV revenue come in yet? For the smaller teams this might be why there is little movement, also hopefully with Downing going to Liv then money might start moving about.
Any further news on GDS? If we can get rid rid of him and Keane, along with the money from Jaime and still don't sign anyone then I can understand people getting upset.

You need to realise that a lot of money and effort has been pumped into the youth set-up - the start fo the art traiing centre, the creation of jobs for player integration right through from the academy to the 1st team, the establishment of innovative partnerships across the globe in order to identiy and acquire young talent.
I really can't see Daniel Levy spending money like that on something he will allow to be discarded.
I think this has been the strategy for a while now. It really started under Frank Arnesen, moved onto Damian Comolli and now Ian Broomfield is keping it going.
I think it's still going to take more time before we really see how good Ian Broomfield is at this level. But the targets we're linked to of late look very promising....

back on topic, what strikers (besides the youth options) are not away playing games in foreign shores? Just asking in relation to CM's last update. If we're close to a signing it must be someone who is easily accessable for personal terms? :shrug:

I dont know who it is otherwise i would say. I've been hassling my source but he hasnt told me yet, he doesnt want to reveal incase someone else comes in and trumps us at the last minute..All he said is he will be a first team striker so not someone like Coulibaly or Pedrozo Whitam.. Personally in my opinion i think its Vucinic. Also Palacios has agreed terms in principle with PSG and is just waiting for the clubs to agree a fee..

Heaven forbid, football agents working for other clubs might be reading our forum and will know who we are after. Its not like football agents and other people working in football circles like journos, etc dont know who is up to what. No not in this day and age of email and the internet.
Well if it is Vucinic why is your source not letting you know? Vicunic and Spurs have been linked heavily in the italian media already.

Relegated in League 2, Racing Club of Lens will have to be solved to let leave some players to strong commercial value. Thus, after Varane, other young hopes of the club could leave in the weeks well to come.
And according to our information, Serge Aurier could belong to these. Indeed, supervised on several occasions by Tottenham, the defender convinced the leaders of Spurs to pass to the action. An offer of 3,5 M€ should be formulated by the boarders of White Hart Lane
