yep,

we're looking to get a few in and we're looking to sell a few. But we haven't finished sticking pins in the world cup ( and world cup didnt quite make its) sticker book.

It's down to Daniel or Harry depending on if you talk to Harry or Daniel

Modric Is / Isn't going delete as you wish.

But in summary we're no closer than we were last summer/january DAsYWish and there isn't any conclusive ITK and these 516 posts are all :eek:mg:Eek:bang::oops::duh::shrug:

again delete as you wish

Please can we have something real to go on this week or actually make a real life, there he is at WHL holding a shirt with a name that I'd actually think of getting printed on the back of mine, signing.

and blue & yellow!

I've been on here a long time, longer than my account shows, and I remember the ridiculous mental days of Rivaldo, Morientes, Eto'o, Diego, Arshavin, and of course Huntelaar.

Very different place these days! lol

Although this blue and yellow stuff is comedy I have to say

Is the ITK that came up with the infamous B&Y allowed to come out and tell us who the intended 'signing' was yet? OR has it been revealed by the source and I missed it by skipping the 30 pages each day?

Even if the deal crumpled back in the fresh faced optimistic early days of the transfer window opening OR if it is still top secret and having a name mentioned on SC could end the deal and the world. I wouldn't mind them taking the risk.

Thought this guy got sent back to Mexico, the last i heard was Palace offered him a trial.

yeah i don't know what happened to him. we wanted him, he came over and we working out a deal. last thing i saw about him was someone else on here saying there was issues with his medical or something? i am none the wiser.

I think it's just best to back away from any discussion about Blue & Yellow...move slowly towards the exit, and once clear...run as fast as you can in the opposite direction.

Potl has referred to it on several occasions without naming names...but many 'cryptic-crackers' have managed to link those words to almost every player on the planet...rendering the enigmatic nature of the B & Y references more or less meaningless in the eyes of many.

The mirror says that Aguero is so despeate to play in England that he is willing to drop his salary to be able to sign for Man City. Now he is on 240000 a week and would take 160000 a week at City. Way out of our league. I really hope he doesnt go to City, that would instantly make them league and cl contenders.

I hope he can cope having to drop his salary to 160 grand a week. I'm sure he'll be ok though as I'm pretty sure they have a Netto and an Aldi.

no chance of rossi, let alone aguero. its a shame but i can only see him in a citeh or cheatski shirt come sept 1st. right now i can only think of 3 strikers that would improve us and are vaguely realistic - llorente, vucinic, berbatov. any others to add to that list?

Nope, but I could take two off of it :)

I hear Frazier Campbell might be available in a 'no option to buy' loan. That should do the trick.

I think cisse said he wanted to stay at his current club although there is no loyalty in football anymore. We don't need a world star as long as harry is confident that the new striker suits us and will score even if that player had a bad season. Mario Gomez had a bad season 2 years ago yet look how good he was last year. The opposite could be said of Diego Milito but who's to say he won't be amazing again next season.

No chance of Lukaku.

Vucinic is the best we can hope for it seems.

Llorente would be quality, Berbatov, 20 goals on half a season would be very welcome back but not likely. Aguero absolutely no chance. Rossi, all the talk makes you wonder, but No. Some names should be banned form these rumour pages as it's doing us no good to even dream they might come.
It's players from teams that aren't in the CL or the CL's bench warmers and cast offs.
Sorry I'm done getting my hopes up when we're linked with a top(ish) player. I'm going to have a Meh week and then I can be plesently suprised if something good crops up.

Exactly my thoughts. Especially when you consider the abilities and not the form of players like Pav and Defoe

Worst case, could Defoe and Pav become a top strike patnership, given a decent run of games together? A confident Defoe and Pav for that matter regularly find the net.

Not sure about that Ryan. I'm a Pav fan, but I wouldn't say his performances for us were due to a dip in form. I think that is his form...all over the place. I like him mainly because he's so inconsistent that there is always a chance he'll smash in a 30 yard last minute winner, but he's never going to get 20+ in the league.

Defoe definitely suffered from a drop in form last season. I still think he's capable of getting on top of his game again, but I'm not sure it's a risk we can take.

I would expect Vucinic plus one other, probably a deadline day swoop for adebayor
