Just got an email back from a colleague at work who gets very good ITK regarding Man City.

With regards to the Bellamy to us story, his answer was " Total Rubbish"

Yeah, that's definitely something we'd do. Especially given the notoriously low levels of melodrama and hysteria in this thread every window. Us posting WUM bullshit would certainly help that. :lol:

Just phoned somebody I know and got told all this

Looks like old Wayne has a high opinion of his talent

I believe it. The Cahill info is spot on. Lots of enquiries, but Bolton have been quoting huge amounts especially after the Henderson deal.

They've shot themselves in the foot though as his sale would fund Coyles spending this summer.

Also word up here is we have zero chance on Adebayor.

The point is we wont be signing KJH for 25 million Euro, that much I know. He moved for half that a year ago and hasn't had a great season or anything, and is a year older.

That said, the only 'ITK' I'm privy to surrounds Blackburn Rovers, Ryan Giggs's marriage, Man Utd youth teams and Aaron Lennon's social life :cry:

Again, he seems kosher and has given us very specific details on his source. It is a different one to other ITKs on this site and so obviously the info will be different in content and perspective. I'm glad so many posters have been respectful of what he's saying and not being insulting, even if the info is not what we want to hear. As has been said, time will tell and personally I expect that some of The Journalist's information will be shown to be very accurate and all of it is valuable.

Even if I would rather batter and deep fry my testis and feed them to Richard Littlejohn than see us sign Farfan.

how exactly do you 'verify' a new 'itk's' source?

If his info is true and our ambition is to sign KHJ and Farfan I think i'd cry with dissapointment for weeks! I'd rather keep what we have than waste money on these two.

The worrying thing about this new ITK is the reason why He is posting. He claimed that He isn't a spurs fan and that most of his news comes from other clubs.

Also his information appears to be in the face of other itk's, which makes me think that He is A, troublemaking on behalf of chelsea to help suggest that we don't have ambition (knowing that the tabloids read this forum.and will print it).
Or B, He is hoping that his information is picked up by papers, therefore giving him exposure (papers unlikely to print same old rumours so when new ones come along they would be likely to print it).

Also we announced on sky sports news on Monday (well donna cullen did) that luka hasn't handed in s transfer request yet sky fail to report that and no yellow ticker etc.

That is the feeling amongst journos up here who are mostly City fans and generally hate us, but are sadly pretty accurate with their info.
