Who cares how much Barca spent on a player that we couldn't get on FM using the editor tool. It has no bearing on us. Just give it a rest.

re: Naughton. It would be interesting to know if he flew back from SA for this deal, or whether it was already done and dusted, apart from the dotting the 'i's etc

Sanchez was bought for an initial fee of 26 mill euros, with variables going up to 37.5 mill. They didnt exactly steal him.

Correct, it's a lot of money.

Still not as good as the offers made by man city and man utd

But still way too much for maybe Udinese's 5th best player last season. Seen him lots and he isn't that good. Flashy but no where near as important to Udinese as Di Natale. Can't even see how he'll fit at Barca, but as others have said this should get the ball rolling.

Studio Sport in Italy (yes I am back here on business) were reporting earlier about Bojan signing for Roma and Vucinic in discussions with us, which kind of goes against what someone said earlier about Vucinic only being linked with us in the English press. It's reached Italy now too.

re: Adebayor

He will atke a substantial wage cut. Its more about the 'IF' agreement thats written into contract and guarantee of purchase after 12 months. Its the settlement of who pays him what he would be missing out on...

For us non-technical ITK fans, is this good news or bad?

So is it really a case of agreeing the particulars with City and Adebayor?

Are we actually saying that City have accepted our approach in principal?

I'd be staggered.

There had been a lot of argument over him taking a wage cut, so that aspect is good.

I think he was tempering it with the part about bonuses, which could scupper the deal

If true then I believe it is good news as at least it means something is happening and we are trying to do a deal.

Well if we get into the top 4 and he is our top scorer, give him whatever bonus he wants.

FFS Ade. If you know what's good for you, you will not fuck up this deal for us. Don't make Daniel angry...

Archie said we had approached about a loan a week ago. I'm not sure if its been accepted as City have made noise about Madrid but not us particularly in the press. But I would think that the additional Jasper info is more along the lines of we have an understanding that were anything reached, he would take a wage cut. But I'm just guessing. I don't have any inside sources.

Sanchez has just joined barca for £23 million, what a bunch tossers barca are, almost blackmailing clubs with low offers because they know the players want to come
It's 23m euros plus 11.5m euros in add ons. Barca didn't force Udinese to accept that bid. Blackmail my arse. They've been negotiating for a while now, Udinese accepted the bid and Barca got their man.
