Why does it feel regarding Spurs and transfer windows, that 'words speak louder then action' (rather than the reverse). Things are always 'close' to completion, Harry always coming out and saying we need '2 or 3' etc.
I just hope it doesn't turn out to be another January situation where we seem to be doing more talking then action. The season is just weeks away and I get the feeling that we are no near to signing anybody then we were at the start of the window.

I've been thinking about the idea that Citeh wouldn't sell to us - it wasn't even an idea last season, they stated they wouldn't as we were rivals for CL spot. Maybe now they feel that they can challenge for the EPL so their rivals are now United and Chelsea, so they would benefit from the top of the league closing up again...and, therefore, a strong THFC. Not saying that is the case, just that it is a possibiility which might explain why they seem prepared to do business with us now.
For what it is worth, I think they will struggle with the commitment of CL just like we did, especially if they lose Tevez.
