I don't get what all the fuss is about? :shrug: We don't need to sign a striker we signed two perfectly good ones, yes both are under 18 and yes unproven but still. There is no need to splash out huge sums of money on players we don't even need :bang: my opinion start Coulibaly upfront doesn't work try Ceballos, spurs team next year:

BAE, Daws, King, Walker
Bale, Sandro, Modric :bowdown: if he stays, Lennon
VdV and Coulibaly

You have answered the question you posed right there matey.

As much as I would like it to work out, putting goal scoring expectations on two young green lads with a combined age of Gallas is sheer insanity.

The one thing we have been crying out for has been a proven, experienced front man to put opportunities away, hold the ball up and generally add some fluidity to our attacking play.

Rossi/Vucinic/Adebeyor/whoever would be a class apart. The young'uns should be integrated gently.

I don't understand why Benni and Bale are on the right.

Or why the OP believes the two players who had never played a senior game for their previous clubs are capable of scoring 15+ goals in the toughest league in the world during their first season. Which is an opinion that is surely based solely on their foreign names.

It's based on Youtube, where these kids score almost every chance that comes their way.

Exciting prospects, and there is a chance that one or both of them will break through and rip it up next season, but it makes far more sense to invest in one or two players who have experience and goal scoring records at the level at which we need them to play. The kids are an investment in our future - perhaps coming through in a couple of years.
