Can I ask why a lot of people are taking Journalist's info as gospel. I'm sure there's no reason to doubt what he's saying and that he's passing on info in good faith, but equally is the same not true of others who have quite a strong reputation already?

I was just too lazy to go back and see exactly which players he'd had mentioned.

However, he did indicate that as far as Vucinic goes, that we were 'going in a different direction', which to me means that we havnt even been looking at him. :shrug:

Affalay would be a great signign, but who can see Barca letting him go, and would he even want to come to us.

As for the other, it just beggars belief that we would spunk £45mil on a player whose transfer fee has been declining since he left Ajax, and another bod that is not significantly better than what we already have.

I did come out and question some of it. But it is unfair, as I know how annoying it is to hear your stuff discredited or knocked. So i stopped. I think to be PC I will say just because he seems to know his stuff for other clubs, seems maybe Villa/West Mids, he mighthave someone with links to us, no more. At the end of day take it with salt as with all of us. Things change, and do WE REALLY know whats DL/HR is thinking ad planning?

Do DL/HR really know, which is the most important thing.

True. It's sort of a lopsided 4-2-3-1 with Vucinic further forward on the left and Menez deeper on the right.

No, you're right, there is no reason.

Except that the other ITKs have a reasonable hit success rate when it comes to calling incoming and outgoing transfers, and what he has said completely contradicts what they (our ITK's) have been suggesting all window.

Plus, his info sounds like the sort of nonsense that you or I could read about on Footybunker or caughtoffside (or is it onside?)

Somehow I dont think Harry would build peoples hopes up like that. I would understand it if he were bigging up a couple of average players but saying we want Rossi and Adebayor when he's secretly after Huntelaar would be a giant middle finger to us fans. Not bashing his information, I just personally dont trust anyone who calls themself a journalist.

So we have had ITK that Forlan was having a medical a few weeks back, that Vucinic agreed a fee and was on a plane to London and that Parker was never on the cards.

I love this site, and get all excited when we DO get linked to some of the above names, though seems at every high another ITK comes in and dashes all hope :<

I can see our strikeforce being the same come August at this rate :cry:

Quite frankly the 'ITK' changes every week, we don't know whether any of it is true and certainly most of the 'predictions' they have made have not come to fruition. Just got to wait till anything is official via skysports or the os.

Think we've had ourselves fooled for quite a while then if that's all true from the journo, bemuses me as to why someone inside the club at the highest level i.e Harry would say he wants Rossi and Ade but someone else seems to think 100 percent that it's all smoke and mirrors.
