Journo, what has your source said about how affelay feels about spurs, since his agent said last week he wouldn't be leaving and also 4Mill seems quiet low

i was told before the media picked up on it that Daniel Levy was keeping tags on Afellay. He was eyeing a loan deal.
Who leaked to the papers? I would suggest Barcelona. Tottenham wouldnt want it leaked if they want to do it on the sly and on loan. Barcelona leak it that tottenham are interested and then things change.
I have been told that Afellay and Diarra are the 2 being worked on now.

As someone pointed out in yesterdays thread when i said N'zogbia was having medical today SKYSPORTS said they had been told Friday; if thats changed there still wrong.

i'd be quite pleased with affelay, diara, and vucinic. not a bad window at all when you can add 3 starters, especially to a squad as deep as ours.

I don't get what the big huff is about, you predicted the medical and it is going to happen so in the end you are right.

Now fingers crossed with Jenas and Hutton!

Jeepers. Whilst I think that Afellay and Diarra would be good signings, I do hope that our attention is well and truly focussed on signing a new striker. The midfield is our strongest area.

Remember there is 2 parts to any medical.
The insurance bit that has to be done by independent doctors (bmi medical centre) and the fitness stuff that the media will be privy to tomorrow/Friday. I am not saying he wont be seen tomorrow doing some sort of fitness thing but the important things are being done now.

I think we need a "statement player"....to keep Modric happy among other things. I don't see any of these three as player of that level.

Journo any chance you can get us a pic of nzog....? That would firm things up for some people... I read the Nzog quotes on his twitter as "he will be a villa player on Thursday" Hence signed?
