Good morning eyeteekay fans! Still no action to speak of but the ITK continues to tittilate and frustrate in equal measure.

I'm getting concerned over how some of you are bearing up after receiving this PM yesterday...........

Still no signings. I know it was said we'd have to get rid of a few before we buy and it looks like panning out that way but still, the nasty feeling that we've been here before is getting harder to shake, the spectre of last January looms large and it's getting to me.

My nerves are at breaking point and I find i'm losing my temper over the slightest thing. I barely eat. I can't sleep but worst of all I can't get an erection. Then there's the constant trembling of my hands. I often find myself sitting in a chair, staring vacantly at the wall and rocking back and forth.

I'm fast losing control over my life. I can't see a way out. Unless Spurs sign someone soon I fear the worst. I feel so helpless, so out of control. The despair is overwhelming and as a last resort, I beg you to ban me from the site until 1st September. Please can you do this for me?

Villa have booked BMI Medical Centre for Wednesday. N’Zogbia expected but they have booked it all day which suggests others will take place. Also have conference room booked at Belfry to entertain guests.
Hutton, Jenas and Crouch definitely wanted. Combined bid is only just over £15million. Bid has not been accepted, negotiations ongoing, but permission given to speak to players. Worried Jenas will be the most unwilling, so will offer him a shorter contract.

I still stick by German based players; Huntelaar, Farfan and German Based Defender/Full Back (name unknown) It’s not Dortmund one; be realistic; Chelsea are in for him. Deals will be done.


BUT confirmed deals being worked on now are from the Spanish league.


· As I said in my original post; Afellay was originally thought of as a loan deal. But that was before interest was ever made public. Barcelona will listen to offers.


· Lassana Diarra; definitely trying to do a deal. I had heard this as rumour before but now I have it confirmed. Levy negotiating a good deal for both teams. Rumour on price is £10-12million plus add-ons. I don’t know if any of the other sources have mentioned this before, I can’t see it on the “ITK” forum page. Madrid NEVER paid the reported press price so wont be taking a hit.

Rumour;Contact from Spain for Defoe. No bids etc. just contact and just a rumour.

Meh. Too much 'rumour' for me.

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew will go all out to sign Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe if he fails to land his top target, Paris Saint-Germain's Turkish forward Mevlut Erdinc. (Sun)

Tottenham hope to complete a deal for Barcelona midfielder Ibrahim Afellay, who has been forced to settle for a bit-part role since joining the Catalan giants from PSV Eindhoven in January.(Mirror)

When was the lasttime we had one of them? VDV? That was a good night, as it was so late in the day. And wasnt really what we were looking for.

If Diarra is done then announce it. If Leandro is done then announce it. Neither are done IMHO.
I want to be optimistic, I want to believe. But for some reason, despite having a ridiculously creative midfield, no big name striker wants to come and play for us and put away some of the hundreds of goal scoring opportunities we will create next season, in the process making themselves an absolute legend.

Someone will do it. Someone will come. And they will go down in football folklore, having sailed past Clive Allens 49 goals in a season record
