Sadly this is a phrase that has less and less meaning as the years go by.

Yep this is true... If you look at their situation this year its not too dissimilar to our position this time last year... only difference is they pay the same salary as us plus £100k a week...

The sooner the better we run out of oil and the Arabs run out of money... Bring on wind energy!!! Demolish all the houses around the lane put up some wind turbines ... we could be back in the game...

How dare Aguero turn us down for a team in the champion's league, what a money grabbing wanker

But what I am sure of is that POTL meant Aguero in Blue and Yellow. I posted this earlier but no one picked up on it, and I don't think it has been mentioned before.

Water = Blue, in spanish = Agua

And in Spanish = E

And then it isn't hard to find the last bit for yellow. The yellow badge over the heart of Argentina's shirts would hint to love = ero....

Agua + e + ero.....

Also it makes sense because POTL seems to get his information from the Levy side of the transfer business (the more trustworthy side as Levy is the one in charge of the cash) and Aguero was definitely a Levy target. Rossi was the 'Arry target...

And then the Modric saga came before the Tevez saga.... meaning Mancs not in for deal at time...

Guerrero sounds like the Peruvian version of Podolski .... scores in the Internationals but is as deadly as DefoeCrouchEnko in the league.

Its a good idea but too much of a tenuous link to get to blue and yellow... We'll see if he carries on with the B&Y stuff in the coming days/weeks... he seamed pretty certain about who ever it is?

Read through this and Steve's review. Very thorough but a simple conclusion- Chuff all is happening.

"and" in Spanish is "y"

"e" is only used when the following word starts with an "i" sound and its a rather complicated rule that I doubt he knows and wouldn't apply to a made up word like "ero"

Love in spanish is amor as a noun. there are various verbs that can be used but none of them are ero.

BOOM!

Blue and Yellow could mean a lot of different things, as everyone has pointed out, so you could be right, but the and=e and the ero=love parts are kind of shaky. "And" is usually "y" in Spanish, and Ero isn't really the word for love, Amor is. Ero is just a suffix, as far as I know. The latin root is there, but that's for erotic love.

Are you referring to Harry and Levy's 2011/12 season on football manager or in reality? :D

I'd hope the youngster's were Leandro and Niang.

Experienced, someone tall or quick.

Gone very quiet on Marin, and about everything else. If we had put a bid in for any player yet, then I think it would be all over the newspapers by now. Modric, N Zogbia, Young etc... were all reported widely when bids went in for them. All we get is rumours on goal.com.
Can see us waiting till the end of the window again trying to get a bargain who has not been snapped up by a big club. Or going for loans. A lot of other clubs are thinking the same. Sorry boys and Hot Spur but we are bottom feeders now.

Does that include the soul man and or kane, or I am guessing we will go back for Leandro

Also SSN sources say defoe doesn't wanna go newcastle, I can't see where else he will go

everything indicates at this stage that we'll be doing the majority of our business on deadline day... again.

sorta not into that. at the very least, would have been nice, if we'd landed a top striking target before the start of the season. just don't really see that happenning now.

If you saw my first post about this (page 30 something) I clearly stated that I not only don't speak Spanish but also I have never learned Spanish....

I still think that it is right...
