so one of the itk's has exclusively revealed today we were in for Aguero...Funny that after i said it on the 16th July...Anyway Vucinic deal still on however his agent is trying to get him the best deal he can financially...No way will he end up at UTD..And like i said a few weeks ago Diarra is our top CM target to replace Wilson and we are still working on it but it is not done...

He wouldn't be overly cheap though, would have to be around the £14mil mark.

Any idea how close we are to agreeing a fee with Roma, or is it more player terms that are the sticking point?

negotiable i think...we want money and want to get rid, however i think we prefer to let crouch and keano out first. I think Defoe will stay until january at least.
QPR/Fulham favorite for Keane.
Perhaps Villa may stand a chance 2.
Stoke want crouch.

Of course I'd take Vucinic, but him in means only 1-2 out? Please tell me Keane wouldn't be the only one to leave (a big if apparently as he loves being a has been while earning good coin).

From what previous ITK have stated is that we've already agreed a fee around 12.5-15million, but the problem being Roma want it upfront and we want to pay in installments...but not sure if that information is out of date or not

Your sort of making the assumption that every other Manager/chairman is as daft as ours when it comes to strikers though.

Surely going on recent form Defoe wouldn't cost 12m?

yep remembered that and was seeking clarification on that...just a bit more detail if he had any, but I guess he probably would of elaborated had he got that info...

I think Levy could get 12 million for him, certainly wouldn't surpise me.

However If Defoe would turn down Newcastle, he would do the same to Sunderland and most others I suspect. Could Fulham afford him? I doubt it, so really cant see any realistic options.

A England International who is still only what 28? I think thats a pretty good price when you consider what other players are being sold for.

Well I can't imagine he's coming if we've agreed fee and his agent immediately went to Manchester. Tells me he has no interest in coming to us.

Taking into account he's almost 30 too. Defintely worth 10m, if that. Didn't we sell him to Portsmouth for 7m originally, when he was younger and in better form?

Current form and age would have him valued somewhere in the region of £2.5 million and that customary packet of pork scratchings.
