well every one seems to think peanut is as good as it gets with regards to itk and if he is saying we are to go back in for lenadro then it shows out ability to sign a striker has been an absolute shambles for whatver reason. and im sure there are lots of reasons. We are not attraction people think we are and above all else its about money we are not willing to offer both transfer wise and wages wise

If ITKs are to believed then we have been in for Leandro since last January so calling our transfer policy is an exaggeration

If Juve get Vucinic and Barca got Alexis Sanchez, Rossi would have to choose between staying at Villareal, playing CL but who have sold one of there best players already or join Spurs who with him could push for top three in the league.
At Madrid are being rumoured to be in for him after getting the Aguero money, but that would be a big step back from Villareal or us.

He (Rossi) will stay at Villarreal or go Juve. We can't afford him. Read into that what you will. But it's the truth

Surely Yidio's been chucked out of the boozer by now!

I hope he doesn't stop off for a kebab on the way to his keyboard, as I can hardly keep my eyes open awaiting his (potentially) earth shattering ITK.

Why are people like yourself so sure of this? Are you his agent?

That sounds like you're trying to present ITK, but really is just a firm opinion on your behalf

The optimist in me wants to believe that we are stalling on Vucinic because we feel we have a chance with Rossi still.

IIRC didn't we have ITK ages ago to the effect of Harry/Levy wont move on from Rossi until they categorically cant get him?

Is there a chance, albeit a really small one, that we still have an outside chance with Rossi?>

Or should I lay off the liquor?

That would actually worry me IF it were true. The thought that we are not pursuing other deals to chase the pipe dream that is Rossi - which has been our downfall previously on occasion - when personally I don't think he should be our priority any way, certainly not at the money quoted.

Go get us the striker who can hold the ball up, score a few goals/create a few goals, play on his own and work with VDV then fuck about with the lilly gilding.

This could end up being like the Arshavin summer if true.

Saw the glut of ITK. Felt a surge of joy and optimism.

And then I read it.

Rossi and spurs

It's not too hard to imagine guys

Seriously we are trying and it's not going too bad.

Leandro will be a spurs player I'm sure. Too much time and effort has gone into this deal for it to fail. Along with a n other ( Rebrab cough cough) then we have a new Stoke force

It's my opinion based on what we know, history, our current position

Don't get me wrong, I love Spurs. Too much. But we cannot afford him. He's going to cost in excess of £30 million and command wages £20k+ beyond our wage structure. We had the opportunity in January and for whatever reasons it didn't materialise. We missed the boat on him. He can stay where he is and earn a very good wage, play in a good league and has the bonus of CL football (providing they qualify)

I'd love to say we could sign him. I know nothing is impossible. But we have to be realistic.

Best we can get is Vucinic and that is why there is weight to this story and all the press you read about Rossi mentions us in the past tense

I'm not itk at all with regards to Rossi. But I'd be an awful lot on him not beind a Spurs player next season guys

Apologies for the rant

We're either signing Kenwyne Jones, Crouch's long lost twin brother, or Llorente
