cockeral does have a link to Levy in some way tho, had info in his holiday etc

I was just offering my opinion in this instance not ITK. The info I get is generally around club internal dealings, so internal player info, stadium stuff etc. I rarely get anything on incoming transfers.

But I am of the opinion that something will happen, Levy is a very shrewd and canny operator - he does do occasionally make mistakes (who doesn't) but it's all in the best interest in the club and he likes to go about the business quietly unlike other chairmen who love to court the media. I can also say that Levy doesn't go around tooting his own trumpet and often sits back to let others take the plaudits (one case in particular).

I have a feeling may of you will be surprised next couple of weeks.

I knew a bloke who had a surprise 60th birthday - such a surprise he had a a heart atack and droped down dead..surprises aren't always good!

However POTL has hinted the rides about to start (although he did say a week or so back things would start from Monday) and we have had a other ITK saying there is lots going on and to expect things to happen soon maybe to use a SSN phrase 'the window is starting to heat up' (seriously how often do they say that!)

I have to say I'm amazed we haven't been able to sell anyone this week. I'd assumed we were waiting for people to get back from South Africa but it's clearly very slow on that front at the moment.

Until we offload some I can't see us being allowed on the ride let alone it beginning.

not as many facts in there as you think matey

King: the op was planned months and months ago which he why he did pre-pre season sprint training before pre-season and during pre-season took part in the hig intensity sprint/recover/sprint drills for the first time in 4 years, something we should all be encouraged about.

His knee won't get better but his management of it has, he's said himself the knee wasn’t the issue last season it wasn’t the groin and thigh muscles. Now here’s a real fact. Chronic join in juores produce a fluid, a fluid mostly made up of water which floods the area to protect the damage done, it is a fact that as your body gets used to the injury the amount of fluid partitioned to that area reduces. With Ledley’s knee the way he’s able to fine tune the exercises, ice and drug routine to cope with the pain/injury so too his body will adapt and send less and less fluid on the knee. On occasion here will be more than normal but it will trend that there will be less and less.. his knee now will swell up less and for a shorter period of time than it did say 3 years ago.

You are correct in that his bone on bone contact will never get better BUT one of the symptoms (swelling) that reduces his motor movement and obstructs his selection, IS getting better.

Gallas limping in games isn’t as relevant as: did he play in them? did he play well? There’s no reason to expect anything less. Again though 25-30 games allows cover for the other 2 CB’s you graciously tagged as Good (I bet they are dancing in the street with your endorsement)

Corluka… well what you say is fact seems more like opinion. My opinion on him is he isn’t awful. I’ve said no more no less.

If he does manage to play more games this season, that is better than any defensive signing imo(king)

This

I really expected some outgoings this week and quite a few to be honest, I've said countless times I dont think we will make major sigings till we trim the squad. Altough Ryan did suggest yesterday that we were waiting to see if we could get Rossi before moving on other targets now he has allegedly been removed from the market maybe we will see more movement.

Sorry for causing such a fuss. Lack of clarity. I am not POTL or dragon1 or of similar ilk. My only contact is a non-exec director. I am a client of his company. I go to the odd game in his box at WHL. I'll be there for Man City on bank holiday weekend.

Signings coming soon. Everything is in place. Good things come to those who wait.

Tick follows tock follows tick follows tock....

Surprised everyone has been so quick to write off the Guinness references. Especially with a view to the earlier mention of "Happy Friday" from POTL. The happiest Friday reference in popular culture is of course that God awful Rebecca Black song. Which seat shall we take, I wonder?

Meanwhile the above is evidently a reference to Guinness, or as it's commonly called "The Black Stuff"

Please let's not go down an unpleasant racial angle but of course in Spanish, black is negro or negra, which is really rather like Negredo.

In German, it is 'Schwartz' but the chances of us signing the ex-Arsenal Swedish midfielder seem remote at best.

Perhaps even more remote than this fella, a Mr Roberto Noir of Boca Juniors.

The missing piece of the jigsaw or final evidence once and for all that I have gone clinically insane? You decide.

I would take the Guiness reference just to mean 'good things come to those who wait' and by god how we have waited!

Or The Guiness or Black Stuff if you prefer could be linking to Ireland so Robbie Keane?

'Tick follows tock follows tick folows tock' could mean 'sale follows signing sale follows siging'? Maybe the Irish ref means Keane will go first to kick the transfer merry go round off?

Let the madness begin.

This window will be known as the colour window. I don't want to start an avalanche of guesses, but could the B &Y be Black and Yellow?

No, because it started as "Blue and Yellow" and only later became abbreviated to "B&Y"

Blue and Yellow. Black. Extremely colourful. We're gonna sign a bag of skittles on a long term deal.

Taste the motherfucking rainbow.

I need a straight-jacket smiley, or one licking a window or something!!

Padded cell anyone?

I'm kinda hoping that Ackie and Ryan are actually hinting that they know that good things are afoot...
