Wake Up, Smell the Roses

Guys, you clearly are smoking stuff I cant find......
1. Our beloved team is not owned by mega rich who are committed to breaking the bank to win, AT ANY COST
2. How many european sides & EPL are owned by people of the type above ?
3. Are we consistently in the Champs league ?
4. What is our average attendance.
5. If you were a top 10 stricker in Europe, worth £25M - £30M, WHERE would you go ?
SMELL THE ROSES,....

Lets make incremental signings, improving the team, and, perhaps God Willing + blood, sweat & tears we can snatch an extraordinary stricker. It means waiting, possibly till last three days then moving on 3 that are really ready to go, even to us....

BELIEVE, but be REALISTIC.....Incremental improvements +++

Damn Rossi and Juve to hell !!

I'd have just preferred it if Rossi to Juve had gone through, and left us Vucinic.

I just don't think Rossi will come to us, despite me believing that we are genuinely trying to get him. Just can't see it.

DL wanted Suarez but couldn't buy a player the manager didn't want. Fabiano, Forlan, Dzeko, J Cole, Bellamy - how are they all doing at the moment?

Harry has spent most of the summer pushing for players on insane wages when if we'd gone for Vucinic earlier he could be a Spurs player by now.

Anyway, still time for a rabbit out of the hat and I've no idea what the latest is on Vucinic.

I'd have been pleased with Vucinic. I am hopeful we get a striker but it is no more than blind faith.

Based on that why are we bothering with Redknapp?

Before I get a shoe-in, there are obviously two sides to every story but Vucinic would be a great improvement on what we have. Not all about goals (which would come if he is not marooned on the left) and the ability to link the play with an element of a brain would be a joy to behold!

there always seems to be this disconnect between levy and harry. one would have to think that no top 4 this year will result in no more harry.

I don't think we know the truth of the matter regarding Harry's potential procrastination.
However,if the last Peanut ITK is correct,I agree with you and Harry should be bypassed.One way or another,most of us will be surprised if he's here this time next year.
The major,if not only aim in this window is to improve our misfiring strike force and while I'm desperately trying to keep the faith,it is difficult with all this ITK regarding missed opportunities to purchase plausible strikers like Vucinic whirling around.
Like all of us,I guess I'm hoping for somewhat of a miracle.

I trust Peanut, one of the best ITK in my mind no doubt.

This is what I've suspected for over a week now...we obviously made progress and then back tracked and I totally suspected that was because of Harry not being confident enough over Vucinic...I seriously think Harry struggles to judge foreign players...

I dont mean that as criticism but I guess its just my frustration coming through...again a lack of decisiveness could well cost us.
