Blue and yellow was first mentioned by POTL back on 5th June. I don't see how it can have remained the same two players for almost two months.

I don't understand it entirely but I don't think Blue and Yellow refers to two specific players...or at least I don't think it did to start with. I think that somehow Blue and Yellow is just what POTL is calling our search for two strikers.

You could indeed link it all to Benzema if you wanted to clutch at straws. You could also link it to about 30 other players of varying quality.

Anyway a joke:

Yeah could be that we don't know .... But my thinking is why write Ms Spears' Country? and Not Brittany Spears?

To add to that FC Nantes have a knick name of la maison Jaune(the yellow house) is this a coincidence?

Ok just finished work - why are we all talking about cryptics from 3 weeks ago? I just assumed POTL's Blue was referring to Diarra - France and would make sense given Harry stating how short we are in CM. By that logic you'd think Yellow was a national team colour and the fact that he's put them together would imply that they both play at the same club. I'm hinting at Kaka but feel utterly ridiculous doing so.

Not as silly as the Benzema talk though - he's not for sale. You don't state that someone is not for sale in the manner that Jose did if you actually want to loan him out instead. From a pragmatic perspective it just wouldn't make sense.

Pretty sure it's something to do with Brittany, otherwise why Ms Spears? Why not some other random Septic if the link is America?

Her name is Britney, SOUNDS LIKE Brittany. I got the player and club wrong earlier, but I reckon the region is on the money.

It's also worth mentioning that since 5th June we clearly made offers for Vucinic who has now joined Juve. Unless anyone can find any link between him and the colour yellow I think this further suggests that POTL is just confident we'll get two strikers (maybe even just two players) rather than two specific strikers.

Major work going on to secure the blue part of B&Y this week.

Initial loan its looking like.

That tells me two players, working on the blue one first, Yellow will probably follow, of course its up to you what to believe and think.

Vucinic had blue & yellow y-fronts on when we bid for him. I saw it with my own ITK eyes.

Obviously he didn't fit in as he's now a Juventus player, I don't know I still can't see us signing two from Madrid but maybe Vucinic wasn't first option and whoever we are tracking is and things are moving.

Vucinic was denied by Redknapp today anyway so god knows now.
