It was some time ago now, Cannot remember if Harry had mentioned him by then, I think he had thats why POTL mentioned Adebayor.

Or it could be POTL covering all the bases if we sign a striker :wink:

Nilmar is 27. I honestly thought he was a lot younger. I wouldnt have wet pants if we got him, dont really see him as an out and out Striker, im sure hes often deployed as a winger.

Not seen too much of him either. Forward/winger who has had a few Brazil caps and not a bad goal return 9 in 23 apps and 21 in 64 for Villareal

nah this season hes mainly played up front with Rossi, or on occasion Just behind him in a SS role.

As much as i like Brazilian strikers and would love to see one at Spurs i'm just not sure Nilmar is the player we need, but then to be honest beggars can't be chosers and he's a decent option at this point.

Tell you what, this guy judging by youtube clips (I know!) looks brilliant on the ball, and has scored some amazing goals. Can play as a winger as well...

Nilmar managed 11 league goals last season and Zarate 9 ... fills me full of enthusiasm, not.

Nilmar is a completely different player to Pavlyuchenko but they both have 1 important thing in common .... their both inconsistent (1 moment of brilliance followed by half a dozen games of nothing).
