The latest ITK is certainly promising

Lets hope we can get something done soon to create a real buzz around the lane going into the new season.

I assume people think storm is Adebayor or Barton because they're marmite. Some will love some will hate, hence take cover or dance. If storm is related to samba, then that's just bollox.

Storm initially was thought to have been about Madrid though, so meh. Adebayor doesn't count really as he's City.

I personally think storm is a reference to the weather and people left to their own devices drawn up all kinds of plausible reasons to make it ITK relevant.

I could say "There's gonna be Sunshine after the rain". That could "sunshine = yellow (ie B&Y)", "where's selling and buying a world class replacement", "the S is capitalised that must mean we're after ....", "its the lyrics to a song by Berri meaning we're signing ...."

If it doesnt come off, I'd say i was talking about the weather and I'd be right

Kaka reminds me of the excitement of Juninho for the Boro fans. I use to love watching this guy play. He would do wonders at Spurs.
He would definately convince Modric to stay.
He can also replace Modric!

Kaka and Modric are totally different players.

If you think Kaka can play as a CM in a 442 then i'm sorry but you haven't got a clue about football.

I think Kaka would struggle in the Premier League like Veron did.

No one is doubting that Kaka would be a massive coup for the club and would generate huge interest but i'm afraid as far as what he can bring on the footballing front then I'm definately in the 'pass' camp.

I can't remember who posted it but you have a look at the picture of him recently on holiday and you tell me you'd think he would perform well for a Champions League chasing side, not to mention his 'erratic' form for Madrid for the past couple of years.

fuck me i do wonder about people on this site some times.

VDV is not going to stay fit all season long! Imagine having the option of rotating Kaka and VDV!! So I say yes please (If at all possible).

This would just be a pointless showboat signing that had no logic in terms of team building. He's been pretty unmotivated the last couple of years and I can't see Stoke away getting his juices flowing.

:rofl::rofl:

Yeah, one of the worlds best footballers couldn't play center mid! Like fuck! He could play anywhere in midfield, no problem at all. It is you that does not have a clue.

(I do agree that he is different to Modric though)

Don't want to piss on anyone's rice crispies, but we're getting excited about the fact nobody at the Club is saying anything.

That could be for a 2nd reason.

NO I wasn't.

Modric has always played in a deeper midfield role for Croatia so it was obvious he had the skill set. Kaka has spent his whole career as either a striker or playing just behind the striker. He has never played deeper than that.

Anyway. That is enough of the spamming.

All this excitement smells suspiciously like us all setting ourselves up for some monster disappointment.

Again.

That was me, he looked like he'd had Jesus's and all the disciples' suppers. Id imagine a pro footballer would lose it quick enough, still a ridiculously talented footballer and a signing that would both smash our transfer record and show ambition...not exactly what we need, but quality is quality...I'd still expect a centre forward though.

Villarreal and Borussia Dortmund are the only big club teams that play in yellow and the only big countries that play in yellow are Brazil and Sweden

Assuming that the yellow is a striker the list should really only be from

Nilmer
Rossi
Shinji Kagawa
Lucas Barrios
Kaka
Leandro
Ibrahimovic

Thought I'd try to narrow this down somewhat

You are right...he can also play in midfield and has done, he also plays behind the striker and can also operate as a striker IF need be. But you are correct to say IMO that he is a Attacking Midfielder. He has at times operated on the wings.

So by your reasoning Messi could play centre back because he is opne of the best players in the world!! Kaka does not have the tactical discipline, stamina, awareness etc to play CM in prem.

This is a pointless conversation though because it is a) spamming the thread b) we will NEVER sign him so therefore not find out!!
