I think(not a member on COYS so I'm only guessing) the thread is asking who they'd prefer and Peanut would prefer Llorente, but doesn't think we have a chance.

Probably that if it was a choice between Adebayor or Llorente he'd prefer Llorente but it's a non starter.

Llorente is a non starter and don't expect anything to be finalised before next week on incomings.

My take on the first part of that is that the thread was "What if it was Llorente or Adebayor [which one would you want?]"
Then Peanut said "Llorente" as his preferred choice, but then said "that's a non-starter" - the last bit suggesting we have nil chance.
I don't know, I'm not on COYS, but that's how I've interpreted that - codspur, you're the man, is that how it went down?

Sadly whenever any ITK mentions anything about any player, it's taken as meaning 'we'll sign the player today!' even though most of the time nobody has said anything like that.
As I said earlier, the Adebayor is likely to be extremely complicated and therefore I don't expect things to happen quickly.
I still think the majority of our transfer work will be done in the last week of the window.

My favorite thing from this glut of ITK is that despite 100 different ITK's coming out of the woodwork to tell us Adebayor or Llorente or Falcao, we have one saying that everything has went quiet at the club (in a good way). Has it? It seems to me that anybody and everybody at the club has been so busy calling mates and mates of mates to tell them something is up, that we don't have enough people doing work to actually process a transfer.

Peanut can be wrong though. He said in January that we made a bid for Suarez but Harry came out and said we didn't (you know Harry though, might be lying).

Tbh I think we will do our best to get Adebayor on loan and if that doesn't happen we will stick with what we have
All our targets are being ticked of the list, Llorente is a no according to peanut, Rossi is staying where he is, Vucinic went to Juve, Benzema staying at Real...there is nobody left but Adebayor.
