Guys...are you believing that even if we were close to signing someone, Harry would have said in the interview:

"Yes, we're sooo close signing both Adebayor, Diarra and one more, we're announcing it now so other clubs can come in and hijack the deals."

I don't believe him at all when he says we're miles away from signing someone.

I know Harry is not going to necessarily say we've put an epic bid in for player 'x' or 'y' BUT there has been 'nothing close' all summer and the last few weeks bare testament to the truth.

Worries me that we're under 4 weeks to the window shutting and we are as close to signing the players that we need as we were in May 2010 :-(

The 35 million deadline day bid for augero was obviously a publicity stunt. What a **** levy is turning out to be. All we need now is to sell modric and give Jenas a 5 year contract extension!.

Chill guys and gals. I'm as desperate as anyone for us to sign a striker or 4, but until the window closes we should hope for the best.

Granted the best would have been to get 1 or 2 strikers in for the start of the season, but I'd rather we held out for the best players than splash out on quick fixes.

I don't think we will make even 1 more signing now, And I'd rather not panic buy me a Rasiak.
