Less than one week to the start of the new season and we're going to be lining up with exactly the same side that ended last year. Standing still = a massive jump backwards.

If it's diarra though the ITK runs the risk of looking like his is taking the piss out of everyone since we have already had loads of info to suggest that diarra is done. The wording suggests it's new info especially when he says we won't be disappointed.

Is a good record. Though not a great deal of it has always been player related.

You'd expect it to be any of Albiol, Marcelo (signed Coentrao), Granero, Alonso, Diarra, Gago, Drenthe, Canales (sure he's gone/going somewhere on loan though) or Morata (young striker who we've previously been linked with).

We have absolutely no chance of signing Alonso, he's one of their best players and is pivotal to their side.

Posted elsewhere that this is Wilson's car at Stoke today, up there for medical
Wilson has a Black Bentley although that could easily be another car he owns. My source has said a deal is close for Wilson to go to Stoke and it should be completed soon. There was a glitch on his signing on fee and a few other bonuses but it should be done.
Also my source has said Diarra is not done...Hopefully he is wrong on this one as im slightly worried that PSG might come in and blow us away in the last minute. A deal for us to sign Diarra is close but not done...
Had talks with Athletico on the weekend over Llorente and J.Martinez... Martinez is not for sale at any price but Llorente will go if we meet the price they want for him...
And once again as ive said already if Adebayor does join it will be a last minute deadline day deal on loan...

The Lavezzi link seams a strange one...? doesnt look like the tall commanding hold up player? or the goal scorer his record is worse than defoes...
I'm surprised if we are looking at him and zarate? Can't see who we'd sign from Real that would come other than diarra... I could see a 6 month Kaka loan to get him game time before back to Madrid, even though very unlikely ... we were linked with Granero... don't see him and Diarra coming Benzemma no chance (love to be proved wrong), Higuain (no chance)

Yeah Canales has joined Valencia on loan. Out of the lot you've listed I doubt it'll be Marcelo or Alonso as they're very popular despite Coentrao and Sahin joining. I honestly believe Jacob was referring to Diarra.

For the record, I was speculating over the 'loan' signing of the one brought, one of loan, ITK (Diarra being the outright purchase).
Raul may be ex-Real, and he may still be banging them in...but Real can't loan us a player on sentiment, and they don't hold his registration, do they? They did sell him?

I find it very stange that none of the ITKs have picked up Palacios to Stoke. Makes me think it's not going to happen.

Well PSG wanted this type of player, obviously Palacios was on their list.
Diarra would prefer to come back to the Prem...from the horses mouth - however money talks, if they're offering much bigger wages we could be in trouble with this and the more time passes the more likely that he is conidering PSG and this is looking nowhere near done.
