Or alternatively, take some responsibility for what you're doing and don't install people into positions of authority who make idiotic decisions like closing a topic for five minutes to teach people a lesson. Is there some kind of internet forum version of Supernanny to teach people how not to make a complete bollocks of what they're doing?

We've been shutting this thread over and over again for the last month. It's working. And it works generally. I did it this morning to great effect. If you don't like it, then you really don't have to post your opinions on the internet. There are plenty of buses you can yell at.

Well it certainly had more thought put into it than the idea that closing a topic for the time it takes to make a cup of tea would convince people that spamming is a really naughty thing to do.

I'm sorry, but how exactly am I supposed to be on the moral low ground here? I spent time bothering my arse to post a decent reply (you know, the sort of thing this forum is for), only for the whole thing to be deleted with no warning and through no fault of my own. I'm hardly being a dickhead in being frustrated at that.

Diarra bringing his mate was a reference to Adebayor think it was just a hopeful response to the links to both Diarra and Adebayor at the time, from Akqayid?
There has been other ITK about us signing two players from RM though, plus Jacob's suggestion today that we're signing a star from Real Madrid that we won't be disappointed in. I suppose he could just be referring to Diarra, although you would think he would have made that explicit if so.
If not, I do hope it's Higuain (perhaps on loan?), with RM then getting Tevez or Adebayor. Ronaldo, Xabi Alonso, Ozil, Di Maria, Kaka, and Benzema are all nonstarters and we'd have trouble fitting in their lesser squad players.

I imagine the 'mate' was just a generic term meaning his team-mate. May be reading too much into the info to try and work out who it is Diarra enjoys a game of scrabble with.
