I get the feeling it's Benzema on loan. None of the top clubs have made their move for him yet, which is probably what he'll have been waiting for before considering us. Now the window is coming to a close it could be on for us now. Only if Real Madrid get in Adebayor though. I can see Real Madrid having Higuian, Ronaldo and Adebayor as their strikers and Neymar joining in January.

It's not worth getting rid of a striker with so much promise who is expected by fans and Mourinho to blossom after a promising preseason for another striker who is older, has less star potential and hasn't been involded in preseason.

It just makes absolutely no sense for RM to let him go on loan or permanent. Which is why there's a small chance it might happen :duh::)

Apparently, we loaned Benzema out to Real Madrid last January and we are due to recall him to challenge for top 4 this season...

This seems to be about actual shares in the company though, looking at it... and nothing transfer related. I could be wrong though.

OK, I don't know much about public companies, and trading and what not, but why does the last trade on the LSE have a delayed publication request? And what does that mean?

Google says:

"It means the trade occurred some time ago but they didn't tell you about it at the time. This is common for big trades."

But yeah, isn't that just stating that someone bought £12k worth of shares? Or maybe it's in pence, so £1.2k - i don't know

Probably should have googled it really. But I want to generate some excitement for no real reason; as it's not a massively massive trade.

Wilson gone to stoke, diarra is in.

I never said we are after benzema, it was just a rumour that they picked up on.

The trade is relatively small in £ terms - so it means not a lot to TH Plc

The seller has requested that the 'trade''s publication be delayed (hence it was at 46p versus current price of 50p/share - reason could be any manner of reasons, a common reason maybe an employee of TH had some share options which matured and needed to sell to raise some cash to pay tax man but did not want the sale to show up immediately

One of the parties to the deal can request a delayed publication request. LSE has to decide whether the trade should be delayed. Doubt if it is too significant unless the buyer is concerned that there is about to be some negative news that will affect the price.
