The posts on here make interesting reading, it's amazing that we are bleating about not signing the likes of Rossi, Adebayor etc while they think that Jenas & Palacios are probably out of their reach.

I think we have become a bit spoilt over the past 2 or 3 years.

Mystery has said we're showing ambition behind the scenes. That doesn't mean we'll be successful with it, just that we're trying.

I can see us continue to push late into the window for the top stars as suggested, failing that we'll be in for a deadline day move for someone like Ruiz imo.

Got to love the ambition though, and if Modrics been told who it is we are trying to sign then we must be reasonably confident of getting them.

Truth is, no one seems to really know what's going on with Diarra, or it at least seems that way. Conflicting ITK and newspaper articles seem to highlight this. According to some it's seemingly practically done and according to others a fee hasn't even been agreed yet/

I think It's just gonna be a matter of patience and waiting for official news.

If Levy is playing a waiting game, we must get our striker before City (H). We can beat Everton with our current strikers and we'll most likely lose to Utd at Old Trafford anyway, but City are beatable although a new striker would be really important in that match
