It seems we have so many things running at the moment and in the pipeline but nothing looking close to being done.

That said I guess things can change and move quickly.

Things are really slow aren't they?

I feel we have enough to beat Everton on opening day, but we need some additions for our upcoming tough matches.

We better had or it's gonna be uphill all the way

Getting more and more pissed off about all of this. "the club are trying hard" is somethin we have heard a lot of, along with all these signings that will make us drop out yoghurt but we have got sweet fa to show for it. Yes it may be simplistic but it DOESNT take 3 months to complete a signing.

yup - I'm getting pretty fed up now as well and wont be one bit surprised if there are another few big bids that go in at the very end of the window with none bearing fruit for obvious reasons.

We cant pay the wages yet we spend all our time chasing these players...hmmm.

can't believe it either. it's bizarre that we are this close to the start of the season, and only have Friedel to show for it. With hardly any notable ins or outs. sheesh.

sorta makes you wonder... is something about behind the scenes? eg: daniel's about to sell up?

Cue a 3-0 win on Saturday with the strikeforce that got us 4th.

Unfortunately the team that got us 4th 2 seasons ago is the same as now whereas all our rivals have improved whilst we stand still (at the mo).

Bit bizarre we havnt got anyone in yet I would imagine 'Arry is rather frustrated. :bang:

20.09 Republic of Ireland captain Robbie Keane has made it clear he expects to leave Tottenham before the close of the transfer window - but is giving little away about his potential destination.

I am pretty surprised we didn't have everything all but tied up and ready to go as soon as the window opened. I really thought Levy and co would have been working behind the scenes even before the window opened.

At the very least I expected us to know who we wanted, who we could get and have a very clear plan of action with 2-3 contingencies in place.

It seems to me once again that we have entered this window much like we enter every window playing the same games and waiting till the last min hoping to get lucky once more.

I really hope we do pull a rabbit or two out of the hat but I am shocked and disappointed that we do not seem to have learned anything from our mistakes of the past and seem likely to run the risk of both missing out on our targets and being stuck with dead wood.

Probably on loan.

If we sell Keane then surely a striker must be coming in?

August 31st is going to be awesome as we know how much Harry and Levy love doing business then.

Is Levy prepared to spunk £25+M on Harry signings when the chances are he might not be here next season , which would explain the Adebayor on loan talk etc.
