So has something gone wrong with Adebayor. Don't see us signing both of them as they'd both expect to start imo. Also, why did we not go for Falcao when his release clause was much cheaper

IF it is true that Levy's in Portugal and IF we're bidding for Falcao, I really hope that Levy opens with a realistic bid, no stupid fucking around with an opener of £10m or £15m, got to open on £25m or maybe even £30m for Porto to take us seriously.
Haggling over virtually every deal is good, it's part of what makes us financially stable, but I fear that Levy takes it too far sometimes.

surely levy would have went out to portugal to seal a deal rather than to come back and then make an offer?

Is it just me or did Mystery's latest ITK just cover the potential bases? It states yes, we're going to bid for Falcao and then also that we could bid for Hulk as well?

People are right! You bid by phone/fax/email, you only fly out to seal deals.

Don't think Rafa on the right of a 4-4-2 will work. Also, I'm pretty sure Falcao and Adebayor prefer playing as the lone striker.
Yeah, I don't really understand the point of flying all the way to Portugal to speak with Porto's president, then having to wait until next week to make a bid.
Surely, Levy would only fly out to thrash out a deal quickly and privately, as he apparently did with Modric.

Doesn't he have a release clause of £27M? If so he would be cheaper than Rossi or Llorente.
I'm sure Levy would fly out to Portugal if he thought it might save the club a million pounds or two by negotiating face to face.
