Scott Spur, thank you for being the first to donate. I love you.

Obviously not in 'that' way though.

Although for another tenner, anything is possible

Had always planned on donating when we confirm a few signings tbh! You might have to wait until the 31st.

I've got a pledge out for £5 a signing ... hoping to shell out £15 before the window closes... If not I'm sure I will feel obliged to donate despite the dissapointment...

A & C - you'll be please to know I've finally made payment of 5 English pounds to the site, although you do realise I will now have to cut back on the amount of balloons my fiance can have at our wedding!

It's all for a worthwhile cause though!

You realise how much £3,000,000 is don't you?

Our profit figure (very loose look at the Financial Statements) was £22.4m for the y/e 30 June 2010.

Your economies of scale are all over the place. Which is why you don't run a football club.

Stoof, nails and heads my good man!

As its been brought up. How much do you guys get for us using the affiliates links? Is it reasonable or is it a matter of 5p per purchase or something daft.

I'm in my overdraft as it is just now but id be willing to use the affiliates on neccesities if i could.

So we hear from POTL that there will be signings coming, and our targets are the same!

Question is, if they are Ada and Diarra - does that meet our current expectations of what we might call "big signings"

Is this what we would call significant investment, and ambition - the kind of ambition to entice players like Modders, Bale and VDV to stay?

I guess I was hoping for more - but maybe I am delusional, I mean we have no CL, we are not a top 4 side (yet) we have a 36k stadium etc, etc. Why would we expect the likes of Mata, Aguero, Suarez and the likes to come to spurs.

Maybe we can only get the players other clubs don't want, or have better players so can't get in their teams - Real Madrid and Man City for instance.

So in his latest post POTL says "There will and are signings". Is he hinting that we've already got someone signed that we haven't announced? Or does he just mean Brad and the two youngsters?

Anyone got any ideas on this? Is there a chance this links in with The Journo's info about KJH and Farfan?

Really dont want Farfan tbh. I'd take KJH if we sold Crouch and Pav & then brought in Adebayor. That would be good business imo

I take it as we have got people we are just waiting to announce, which would suggest maybe Diarra is done as Mystery said earlier. Expect more to follow is the message as far as I can work out.

Quite postive, makes me smile!

1) There has been constant ITK, including as other than Adebayor/Diarra, that big and ambitious things are being attempted, and we won't be disappointed.

2) My personal opinion (not sure what that would cut with Modric/Bale/etc), is that if we buy Adebayor and Diarra, and then 4th, or, even, better :)omg:), that is the real sign of whether our signings were ambitious or not.

depends on the website and what you buy. But using the affiliates links when going to places like Amazon, Play, Game, Tesco, iTunes, PC world ect is always appreciated

There are two ways of looking at today's events.
The bad news is nothing has happened either in or out.
The good news is that Chelscums knockout £30 million take it or leave it bid hasn't arrived either, throwing disrepute on the disreputable Mirror's story.
