I don't care what people say - the word is yes. And again it won't be without trying. I'm sticking with Darria, and I'm sticking with a 'fuck me' signing

On a personal note I'll be sad to see Bents leave, under different circumstances he could have come good.

cheers mate looking forward to what happens
wonder if there is any chance of us getting berbatov back

Unbelievable.

I'm praying City come in for you last minute so you can poison another forum. You belong somewhere where reality isn't an issue.

Nice to know you hope a Spurs player fails. What an amazing fan you are.

 too true

Its funny that the Journo has been so adamant re Huntelaar for so long know and yet the noises are regarding Arsenal...

I think the Journo could well be right actually.

Hopefully he's got a cab paid for by the Gooners to white hart lane to sign for Spurs.....ala Petit

Arsene spending 40 million on one player? Pull the other one. He's got active in the market but that's just silly.
I think its more whats being quoted to them, rather than them wanting to spend it. Another note, If Cole signs for Lille, I would expect Hazard to be moving, with le scum as first choice.

What have doing our buying early got to do with paying over the odds

Oh i see....you are the Danny Levy type who believes things get cheaper towards the end of the window

As for the loss on outgoings...pray tell me ...are we making a loss/profit when the likes of Hutton,Palacios Bentley Dos Santos are eventually sold
I was refering to Liverpool paying over the odds early in the window. And yes good deals cme up at the end of the window. It's down to the 25 man squad rule where teams have to cut their losses. Remember VDV last summer?

Sure it would be ideal to get things done early but I don't think Liverpool are a good example considering how much they threw about on signings.

Lets see what we actually get for our sales first before judging too. If Crouch goes for £10m + then that's great business.

I'm predicting:

Crouch to stay
Palacios to leave
Hutton to leave

Parker to join

Boring, but the most probable outcome.

AKQ Re Diarra- Do you know what the deal was...? 145K a week wages and 10 mill to Real transfer fee and there endeth the deal for Daniel!
Be nice if Daniel changes his mind tomorrow though

If Crouch stays we are f*cked as he is catalyst or domino in most of our deals happening....

He saw it as big last pay day not the move he really needs

The offers there - he needs to sign it

i wud absolutely love diarra. proper player and just like parker what we need but he is not that good to be on that wage so my answer wud be in fairness to levy to tell him to suck his balls at that price.

only top top top player should we pay at that price
