After watching Arse v Chelsea, I am wondering if Villas-Boas will make the grade here in England. He seems to have tried to totally export his template of success with Porto on a squad of players with totally different characteristics.
It has brought to mind of Ramos who also thought he had achieved a winning formula with Sevilla, infact he said as much in an interview once, and looked to import it in its entirity with us. AVB's Porto swept everybody aside and played a similar style to Ramos' Sevilla, and both sides relied on swarming and overwhelming their opponents with wave-after-wave of attack.
Obviously Villas-Boas speaks excellent English, giving a huge advantage over Ramos in working here, but I wonder if his lack of management experience could prove costly for him in a club with an extremely demanding owner.
