I didnt think he was going to be much of an upgrade on Palacios but oh how wrong was I. Willy P put in some commanding performances for us before his from dropped badly, his home debut vs Arsenal was sublime but nothing compares to what Parker can do, he really is soemthing else!!! Outstanding performance on Saturday, every match so far he has been a beast! Well done Harry for persuing this deal.

thank god we didn't get diarra

well to be fair, if we got Diarra you would probably be saying thank god we didnt get parker. Diarra is a very good player too, more mercenary than man it seems though

I thought he was terrific on Sunday! Personally think we have the best CM pairing in the league with him and Modric

Scott Parker is the kind of player who wins you games through sheer determinatio and spirit! We're seeing players play better this term because of him. People don't mention how good a footballer he is. He isn't just about graft. He can run and pass when needed.

I love him! Thank you Arry and Daniel

Was a privilege to be at the lane to watch him and Modric on Sunday.

I'll admit I was hardly pro parker, thought palacios and sandro would be enough but every time he has played for us he has been absolutely brilliant. Top top player, wish he was a few years younger!

I wanted us to buy Scott Parker when he played at Charlton but he went to the club that paid him the most money.

At the time I disliked him for it.

Looking back I don't blame him because in the same position I would have done exactly that.
Even though we are both Spurs fans..........at the end of the day,you have to be professional and look after your family.
Now he can play for Spurs for the pure love of it ...............and it's starting to show.

Keep it up Scotty.

I dunno. He went to Chelsea, who were clearly the more favourable prospect at the time, but then they bought about 10 midfielders.

He also chose Newcastle, and then West Ham over us so I don't believe for a second he is or ever was a fan

Never liked him, always thought he was overrated and made out to be this typical English 'lionheart', 'battler' and therefore leader of men because he puts a few tackles in but I have to say he has impressed me since he arrived

I have to admit that Harry is a bit of a genious when it comes to looking at a squads weakness and addressing it. I was shocked to my very core when Parker was added and Palacios shipped. I know its early days but Parker looks to be one of the best peices of buisness by any side this season. I mean, a busy f*** who can also keep the ball.....THIS CAN NOT BE!!!!

He did impress against relegation likely QPR. And, has played well upon arrival. But, this has been a precious few games. I wonder (and no one knows) what it would be like if he played in the 2 manchester games with the same result? Or, played in those games and the results were different. He has played well in his early appearances, that is fact. It's WAY too early to be equating him to Dave Mackay :violin:

Let's see how things look on February 1st...
