A lot of talk on Twatter that Seedorf is a done deal to Botafogo in Brazil.....so perhaps we forget that one before it starts!! :LOL:

Exactly...VDV won't play a full season, let alone finish most games. Dembele can fill in for him and cover a deeper position as well, which he's shown he can do at Fulham from time to time as well.

If we were to sign Dembele, and we are in Europe next season and have a run in at least one other cup...I'm sure he would get at least 20 starts and a bagful of appearances from the bench spread over the season.

Dembele sounds a lot like modric insurance to me.....

4231 with options in midfield triangle of Sandro, huddlestone, parker, livermore, vdv and dembele sounds very solid to me.... plus the 25 million or so in change from modric's sale, life is not so bad....

Why does it have to sound like Modric insurance? A) they are not the same type of player and B) we already heard that Remy's trip to London was cancelled. Maybe we're getting fed up and turning our attentions to less of a risk?

By risk, I mean, Remy not played in prem league and will cost a lot more than Dembele.

Dembele is more of a VDV than a Modric.

He's a cracking player, but personally don't think he's needed - unless we're committing to the 4-2-3-1 formation instead of going with the bastard 4-4-2. He can play where VDV plays and up front, and if Bale ever got the hang of coming inside he could probably go on the right hand side there. Also, can be a good backup striker.

He's pretty much the perfect backup player. If It's less than 8 figures I'd say go for it.

Wether or not you guys think that AgentITK is a waste of space or a wum, does it really matter?

This is the Twitter Twattle thread. Most things on twitter could be made up, the reason the thread is here is to keep it out of the ITK thread, so as with normal ITK from respected ITK'ers, take it with a pinch of salt.

I personally think that he is a wum, but surely it's up for everyone else to make up their own minds about him?

I really can't believe so many people are saying Dembele is a Modric replacement. Luka pulls the strings from deep. Dembele is most certainly more of a VDV-type footballer.
