Annoyed at how on SSN they read out emails from viewers and they were all pro-Redknapp, is a bit of fairness from newscorp too much to ask?

For me Adie called it first, he just did - and he was adamant albeit his timing was out a little but the conviction was there.

JJ, Ryan and others have been talking about the disintegrating relationship for a while. We knew there was a meeting this week. There was no way he was "100% being sacked" a few days before that meeting. Adie was completely wrong and took a shot in the dark based on the comments from JJ, etc that there were issues coming to a head.

Redknapp has been great but he really did deserve to be sacked. I will do a full write up but the guy put Leys nose out of joint so many times it's unreal.

Thanks for the memories Harry but tottenham hotspur continues and I trust levy to deliver.

I'm gonna come out of my self imposed exile now and go on record saying thank you to HR for all his efforts but the time was right for him to move on. I'm just a bit gutted we left it till now to do so, surely getting rid soon after the season ended would have given as time to find the correct replacement.....

Redknapp exceeded all expectations as Spurs Manager but I never really believed he was Levy's long term choice, more a transitional stop gap after the Ramos misjudgment. Levy has been preparing for today for months with the court case and England job thing. If people think this is something that has been thrown together in the last couple of days they need to have a good long think about it without schoolboy psychology leading them down the garden path. Redknapp leaves with his reputation greatly improved and being top man with the media. He'll be happy enough.

Any news on whether he was sacked or walked out?

Harry will never walk out, he was terminated and will get £3m compo apparently.

Respect what he did but time to move on, hope to see Moyes come in ASAP.

As said, Spurs will be BATTERED in the media now but I feel whatever happens next season this is the correct move

exactly this. i was cringing listening to sky sports. even throwing a few digs in with "player quotes". we're gonna be hated for this throughout the media. I for one wont miss the media circus that H brings.

We made this pack when we got into bed with Redknapp - the backlash will be inevitable, but we've ultimately freed ourselves from their grip.

See Rob's post mate. You're more switched on than that mate. What Adie did was no different than what that Pablo fella said tonight, it was 100% bollocks.

I don't need to see Rob's post Bear (although I have and understand this isn't the place for it).....nevertheless I'm making my own mind up :)

I think he deserved another year, but clearly based on his media comments 1 year wasn't enough for him. If the club aren't committed enough to offer him more, and Harry has admitted he can't do the job under those constraints then we are right to move on. Hope Moyes is good for us! Would prefer Pep!

Maybe some of our flagging talent will get a chance with a new man in charge. Gio I'm looking at you....
